Dear Diary, + 

I find myself wondering if I should address these entries to Jimin directly. Would it feel like composing letters destined for a silent recipient? I’ll stick with “Dear Diary” for now. + 

Today, I saw Jimin smile. + 

Hoseok hyung made him laugh – a sound I hadn’t realized could be so…beautiful. It was a genuine, unrestrained laugh, unlike anything I’d heard before. I didn’t even know laughter *could* be beautiful until that moment. Though, I must confess, Jin hyung’s laugh is…distinctly less appealing. It’s probably why I never imagined a laugh could be so lovely. + 

Watching Jimin interact with our hyungs feels…significant. It’s a good thing, I think. + 

Perhaps he’ll begin to seek friendship with me, too. + 

Does he even know I exist? It feels a silly question, but the thought lingers. + 
