I write about the places that feel like home, even when they’re a little bit broken. I’m drawn to small towns and the folks who find themselves rooted there, often with a touch of wonder hidden beneath the surface. I love the way a diner glows at night, or how dust motes dance in the sun, and I try to capture that feeling in every story. They tend to be quiet ones, full of a little bit of sadness.
