I write stories about folks finding their place—or maybe just realizing they haven't. I usually set things in those forgotten corners of the country, the rust belt towns most people drive through. I love how a simple moment can hold a lifetime of feeling. My stories are a little sad, a little hopeful, and always a little off-kilter.
