"AMELIA!" She heard someone yell as she and Lizzie walked through the gate.

She looked up from her sister towards the two girls, standing there, with a big sign with the words "Welcome Home" written in pink glitter, making her start chuckling.

"Allison! Lydia!" She yelled as she ran towards the two, leaving her suitcase and her sister behind as she hugged the two girls tightly.

Amelia and Lizzie had spent the entire summer with their cousins Dahlia up in Scotland, trying to look out for new seekers like her and Lizzie.

Seekers are these supernatural creature that are supposed to be protectors of other supernatural creatures such as werewolves. They are rumored to be extinct and replaced with Sealgairs, which are Seekers that refuse to make a connection with a supernatural creature.

Instead, they hunt them.

Seekers are from Scotland originally, so Amelia with her sister and cousin went there to the concentration of the supernatural, trying to look for them.

A lot of things happened during the trip that she prefers to forget, such as not finding absolutely anything except for a bunch of legends and bad alcohol.

But, she was back home, in Beacon Hills, California, after battling with creatures that wanted to kill her, training with her psycho cousin and spending hours in a library instead of partying. She was finally back.

And she just wished things could go back to their familiar weird crazy before she dies of boredom.

"Oh, my God," Lydia exclaimed towards Lizzie, who joined them with a smile. "You look older."

Lizzie chuckled. "I turned fifteen in Scotland and I had to deal with boredom there so, I'm ready for high school," mentioned the young protector as Lydia hugged her, the girl giggling. "Did you behave without me?"

"Oh, please." Lydia broke apart the hug. "With you three being gone all the summer the only thing I did was to try get tan and failed miserably. Now, us three." Lydia pointed at Allison and Amelia with a smile. "We are now officially entering junior year as single successful women while little Lizzie is finally entering high school."

Oh shit, forgot to mention that detail. Amelia and Stiles haven't talked in the whole summer.

The first few days started fine, but soon they started to lose contact, and later calls were minimal. She would receive a good night text in the middle of the night because of the different time zones, everything would be complicated. Until finally she stopped replying.

They didn't break up, they just... haven't talked, haven't discussed anything. She hasn't heard from him in a long time, even though she never forgot him. They just... stopped talking.

But you cannot just stop talking to someone, or at least that's what she thought. She knew that she had to clear some things up with the guy, and she was going to do it.

Just not tonight. She just wanted to arrive to her bed at the McCall's residency and sleep till noon before school starts on Monday.

They got inside of Lydia's car after she put the suitcases in the trunk. Lydia had offered ride her from the airport to Scott's house, where she and Lizzie were staying. Allison had offered her to stay at her new place, at least for a while until everything with Stiles gets figured out, but she refused. She missed her best friend/fake brother, and she wanted to see him.

Amelia checked her messages but she didn't have anything new. Her inbox was empty, and she was looking at the last text she sent.

Amelia had totally excluded herself from Beacon Hills except for one person.

One person that hasn't texted her back in a one day and she was getting kinda worried.

"Waiting for someone, Amy?" Lydia asked her and the girl put down her phone quickly, making the three start laughing as she covered her face with her hand. "I thought you and Stiles didn't have any contact the past four months."

Hearing his name wasn't any easy.

"No, we didn't," she told her. "I'm actually... waiting for a text from... another guy."

"What!?" Allison asked as she turned around, looking at her in the backseat. "What do you mean with another guy?"

"A friend guy," she clarified. "Isaac, to be precise."

Isaac had sent her everyday a text from Beacon Hills, letting her know he and Derek were okay. They were looking for Erica and Boyd, and she appreciated that the guy let her know that he was doing alright, so she started texting back with the things that she was doing.

Soon, they will chat every day, but Amelia hasn't heard from him since even before she got in the plane, so she was a bit worried, but decided to let it slide.

"Could you please tell Allison to get back in the game like you are?" Lydia asked Amelia and the girl laughed.

"I'm not back in the game, Lydia, please."

"And I'm not ready," added Allison, kinda insisting.

"You were in France and didn't do any dating for four months?" Lizzie asked from the backseat and Allison shrugged.

Allison and Scott broke up. Amelia and Stiles were on confusing terms but the girl (and apparently everyone else) assumed they broke up too. Still, Amelia didn't date anyone in the summer. She was too busy.

"Did you?" Allison asked Lizzie and the girl rolled her eyes, making Allison chuckle before looking at Lydia. "Did you?" She repeated the question, more serious. "I mean, after..."

"Don't say his name."

Oh. Jackson.

"Is he okay? I mean, did everything work out?" Questioned Allison making Lydia tense her neck before smiling.

"Well, the doctors looked like total idiots when he turned up alive, but everyone got over it. And yes, Derek taught him the werewolf 101, like how not to randomly kill people during a full moon."

Amelia chuckled. Ah, the full moon brought her no problems in Scotland. She just appreciated that the other three werewolves she was connected to learned how to control their powers.

She learned a lot from her connection to supernatural creatures in Scotland, part of it made Dahlia want to stay there, to learn more and maybe connect to a tall handsome Scottish werewolf. Her words.

"So then you've talked to him?" Asked Amelia.

"Uh, not since he left for London."

Right. Now Jackson was gone, and they had one less problem to deal with. She wasn't going to say it out loud but the guy was a jerk.

"You mean since his dad moved him to London," corrected Allison and Lydia was quick to snap.

"Whatever, he left," she affirmed. "And seriously, an American werewolf in London? Like that's not going to be a disaster."

"So you're totally over him?" Asked Lizzie.

"Sure... why not?"

Amelia looked down to her cellphone, noticing that Isaac hadn't even seen the last text she sent him. She, by curiosity, slide towards her conversation with Stiles, especially the last message.

STILES good luck. love u

That day, she had forgotten to reply because she was so busy. The next day, she had had a problem at the library and she spent the entire day fixing it. Later, it just got weird to reply.

She would stare at the text, knowing that it had been a long time but not making anything to stop it from getting any longer. She would just lay in bed, looking at those for words before going to sleep, recalling memories with him.

She had seen a photo of him that Lydia had sent him. He had grown his hair, and now instead of having it in a buzzcut, it was a bit longer. She liked it, it made him look handsome.

They stopped at a red sign and the girl turned off her phone, hearing as Amelia, Lizzie and Allison joke while she stared at the stoplight, waiting.

"Oh my God!" Allison said and Amelia turned around to look to the side.

Stiles. He was there. He was there in his blue jeep next to Scott, looking straight at her.

He was different. He looked different. It just... everything felt different.

"Oh my God," continued Allison. "I just, I can't see him right now," the girl told them, referring to Scott.

Amelia simply looked away towards the red light, begging for it to change.

"Lydia go!" Insisted Allison as Amelia covered her face with her palms.

"But the light..." Lydia said.

But as soon as the saw Stiles with the intention of getting the window down, Lydia accelerated quickly, even making the tire screech against the road.

Amelia exhaled, released. "Oh my God..."

"You guys alright?" Lydia asked the two and Allison nodded.

Amelia turned around to see Scott and Stiles driving behind them, and her palms immediately started trembling.

"Oh my God, this is not the way I wanted to see back Stiles."

"What what did you want to see him?"

She scoffed. "Anything but this!"

She placed her palm on top of her face before exhaling. What was she even doing? She'll have to hang out with them again, they are her best friends. Well, she lives in Scott's house to even start.

Lydia was driving towards Scott's house...

"Lydia, stop," Allison said. "We need to go back and talk to them."

"Talk for you!" Amelia shouted, but Lydia stopped anyway.

The four girls turned around to look at the guys, noticing they had stopped too.

"Why would they stop?" Asked Allison and Amelia raised her eyebrows.

"It's Stiles and Scott. Do you really want try applying logic to those two?" Amelia commented.

"We should go back—"

But they didn't even finish when something crashed against the windshield, making Amelia cover Lizzie immediately by pulling her against her chest as the girls screamed at the same time.

As they screamed, the girls proceeded to open the car and step out, walking backwards, away from the car.

"Are you okay!?" They heard Scott say and after a few seconds she felt Stiles hands around her, trying to calm her down.

"It came out of nowhere," said Amelia as she tried to catch her breath, looking to the guy who placed his hands on her waist.

"Are you hurt?" The girl shook her head, trying to calm down. That was a good scare.

"It ran into us," was the thing Lydia said as she hugged Lizzie.

Amelia simply looked at Stiles, giving him a tiny smile as he placed his hand of her cheek, slowly taking it away.

Stiles had been worried sick all summer. After a few days after she left, he started to hear less from him. He started to get less messages, less emails, less everything.

Until one day, they simply stopped.

He talked to his dad about, to Scott and the only thing they told him is that when she got back, they had to talk.

But he knew. Deep in his heart he knew that it was over as soon as he said I love you and she didn't reply.

But now she was here, and he had a chance to fix whatever he did wrong. That's, of course, if she wanted fix.

"Are you okay?" He repeated and the girl nodded.

"I'm okay," she said, smiling a bit before stepping back from him a bit, looking at the rest.

She was embarrassed. It was her fault they were in the position they were and she truly thought that she didn't deserve someone like Stiles, and maybe it was true. And she was embarrassed to even look at him for it.

"Well, I'm not okay," cried Lydia. "I'm totally freaking out. How the hell does it just run into us!?"

Lizzie tried to calm her down but it simply didn't work. Amelia looked at the two girls before walking towards the front of the car quickly, being followed by Stiles.

The girl looked at the animal that had crash with the windshield, how he was dead on top of the front Lydia's car, his head inside. It made her tremble just looking at it.

"I saw it's eyes right before it hit us," told Lydia to the rest, making Amelia look at her. "It was like it... it was like it was crazy."

Scott approached the animal. "No, it was scared." The werewolf placed his hand on the back of the animal's head. "Actually, terrified."

Amelia looked towards the place where the deer had come running, wondering what could have possibly terrified him so much that he had run that way.

And the only thing she saw was the full moon, lightening the sky with its light. Well, that could definitely mean something.

Welcome back to Beacon Hills.
