Shivika arrived at Lonavala, tasked with uncovering the truth behind Daksh Kapoor’s intentions towards Priyanka Oberoi. The stakes were high—a marriage orchestrated with malice.
As per Annika’s plan, Shivaay had asked Daksh to travel to Lonavala, hoping to catch him in a compromising situation. Daksh had politely refused, claiming a prior engagement with Priyanka for shopping. However, Priyanka had returned moments later, stating Daksh had received a call about a friend’s accident and left abruptly.
Shivika decided to proceed to Lonavala alone, determined to find proof. Shivaay, oblivious to the meticulous preparation Annika had undertaken, was unaware of the contingency plans she’d devised to handle any unforeseen circumstances.
They secured a room directly across from Payal’s. Annika, ever vigilant, spotted Daksh entering Payal’s room and immediately informed Shivaay.
After a brief discussion, Shivaay resolved to confront Daksh. He knocked on the door, Annika by his side. Daksh, initially startled, welcomed them with a forced smile.
As Shivaay noticed Payal, he questioned Daksh about her presence.
“Payal and two other friends are here,” Daksh explained, “I’ve been busy with wedding planning for Priyanka. This is a surprise party, and Payal is helping me coordinate.”
Shivaay felt a pang of guilt, realizing he’d allowed Annika’s suspicions to cloud his judgment.
“By the way,” Daksh asked, “what brings you both to Lonavala?”
Before Shivaay could respond, Annika stepped forward. “I’m your wedding planner, remember? You asked for a destination wedding for your sister. I suggested Goa, but you insisted on a location more suitable for a traditional ceremony. I’m here to inspect the resort.”
She continued smoothly, “I initially planned to visit Pune, but you specifically requested Lonavala to discuss the chef and evaluate the facilities. We’re here to do just that.”
Shivaay stared at her, astonished by her quick thinking.
Her phone buzzed, displaying an unknown number. She answered.
“Haan ji, bol rahi hu…”
A brief exchange followed, filled with clipped responses.
“Oh aap…”
“Haan ji…”
“May be we will reach in 15 to 20 minutes…”
“Yeah definitely…”
“Just 20 minutes, sir. We will meet you.”
“Haan sir, Mr. Oberoi is here too.”
“Haan sir. If he likes it, we will talk.”
“Sure sir. We will.” She disconnected the call.
Turning to Shivaay, Annika said, “Mr. Oberoi, if your inspection is complete, we can move on to the Blue Moon Resort. If you don’t like that one either, we can head to Pune. Time is running out.”
Shivaay nodded. Before they left, Annika turned to Daksh. “Mr. Daksh, since you’re here, why don’t you join us? You can personally inspect the venues and choose the one you prefer.”
Shivaay watched as Daksh politely declined, citing his responsibilities with Priyanka’s surprise.
Shivika left, and as they drove, Shivaay turned to Annika. “I already told you, but you wouldn’t listen. Now you’ve seen it for yourself—he’s a good man.”
“Mr. Oberoi,” Annika replied, “accept it or not, I will prove it. Please, let’s go to Blue Moon Resort.”
“Are you mad? Why would we go there?” he demanded.
“Please, Mr. Oberoi. Give me one more chance.” She pleaded, her eyes locking with his.
He saw something in her gaze—a determination that bordered on desperation.
He turned the car onto the road leading to Blue Moon Resort.
