Meanwhile, fifteen minutes after Annabelle's announcement (8:30 p.m.), Caitlyn was hanging out with some friends: Elle, Silvia, Annabelle, Christina, Caitlyn, and her boyfriend. They talked about a fascinating topic, and Caitlyn stood up with zero hesitation.

"I have to go to the bathroom for a second, so I will be a minute," announced Caitlyn. Everyone understood her statement, and Caitlyn ran to the bathroom immediately.

Devon decided to get a snack from the kitchen counter, where Annabelle's expert cooking skills had displayed freshly made chocolate brownies. They smelled delectable, and the sight of them could make anyone's mouth water. Devon looked sweets, and he always couldn't resist a freshly-made chocolate brownie.

"I'm going to get a brownie from the kitchen counter; I will be back in a minute," announced Devon, standing up. The girls again understood, and Devon began walking toward the kitchen, where the mouth-watered smell of the treats filled Devon's lungs with pleasure. Devon took a part of a brownie from the kitchen, but little did he know Beatrice also had one and walked up to him.

"There he is, my crush! This is the perfect opportunity to charm Devon and flirt with him," thought Beatrice, smirking.

"My—my—my, what a pretty boy like you eating a chocolate brownie in the kitchen. Brownies are made out of sugar, and the sweet substance makes you feel love," said Beatrice, kissing her half-eaten chocolate brownie.

Devon was startled, and he took a step back in fright. "Y-You scared me," gasped Devon, holding his chocolate brownie with both hands. Beatrice grinned and scanned him top to bottom with an obsessive love look before gobbling the rest of her brownie like it was candy.

"I'm sorry; did I scare you with my dazzling presence? I'm too cute, aren't I?" giggled Beatrice, walking closer to Devon. Beatrice's flirty behavior made Devon shiver, and he was confused. He stepped backward to the microwave.

"W-What do you want?" asked a frightened Devon. His back leaned against the microwave, and he took a bite of his chocolate brownie. Even the sweetness of the chocolate flavor couldn't ease his nerves.

"I want to kiss you. Caitlyn doesn't need to know you, and I will kiss you, and it will be harmless. You can still keep your relationship status with her," said Beatrice, puckering her red lips. Beatrice was inches away from Devon's lips, and her chocolate breath was breathing in his nose. However, a monster as angry as a raging bull was nearby; Beatrice's flirtation proved to be a grave mistake as the beast roared like a lion.

"I DO NOW, YOU WITCH! GET AWAY FROM MY BOYFRIEND," screamed Caitlyn, holding a chocolate brownie of her own. Beatrice kissed Devon lightly on the lips and pulled away from Devon's breath as she saw a furious Caitlyn stomp on the ground. Beatrice smirked, licking her red, rosy lips.

"Oh, Caitlyn, I didn't see you there. I hope you don't mind; I have one little kiss from Devon. He's too cute to look at," said Beatrice, walking toward Caitlyn.

"HE MAY BE CUTE, BUT HE IS MINE! I KNEW SOMETHING WAS OFF ABOUT YOU," yelled Caitlyn, putting her brownie by the other brownies (on the kitchen table). Some Freedom Fighter Squad members (Elle, Allison, Eve, Caitlyn, Christina, Kevin, Aarti, Samuel, and Darren), some of the cats, crows, and owls heard the noise. They walked or flew inside the kitchen as Caitlyn turned into a fire-breathing dragon. Caitlyn lunged toward Beatrice and started a gruesome catfight. The two screamed, pulled each other's hair, kicked, punched, and shoved each other. The fight was so bad that Kevin picked the two girls with his incredible strength.

"LET ME GO, KEVIN! LET ME DEAL WITH THE CHEATING LIAR," screamed Caitlyn. Caitlyn accidentally kicked Kevin in the face, and the strong boy was unfaced.

"Both of you, calm down! Some of the team members are trying to practice their powers, and you two are making a ruckus," said an annoyed Kevin. Caitlyn looked like an erupting volcano, while Beatrice was calm and composed.

"Hey, I just gave Devon a harmless kiss. Caitlyn is the one that started the fight," said Beatrice, folding her arms and looking at Kevin. Kevin took a deep breath and focused her attention on Beatrice.

"ON THE LIPS! SHE KISSED DEVON ON THE LIPS, KEVIN," yelled Caitlyn. People looked at Beatrice with disappointment and disbelief; the ones who looked the most upset were Elle and Annabelle, who knew Beatrice more than any of the team members (with the exception of Everett, who was in his room practicing magical spells, oblivious to the fight).

"Goodness gracious! I thought you were over kissing boys," exclaimed Elle furiously. Elle gasped as everyone turned to her in shock, and her words consequently caused a hornet's nest. Caitlyn became enraged and kicked and screamed like a toddler.

"Sorry, Elle. The heart wants what it wants," shrugged Beatrice. Beatrice shrugged off Elle's statement, and Kevin sighed.

"I will let you go first, and Caitlyn will just have to wait," said Kevin. Kevin took his right hand off Beatrice's leg, and the cheating lair flopped on her head. Beatrice got on her foot and walked out of the kitchen while giving Devon a flirtatious face.

"I hope we kiss again, cutie," winked Beatrice, blowing a kiss toward Devon. Devon was stunned, and he nervously looked at Caitlyn, where she was ready to explode like dynamite.

"BEATRICE, YOU DIRTY CAT! UGH," screamed Caitlyn. Devon looked at the ground with guilt and didn't know what to do.

Kevin carefully let Caitlyn go, and she placed Caitlyn on her feet (this time). Caitlyn ran over to Devon and shot him a serious look while putting her hands on his shoulders.

"I hope you didn't like that kiss Beatrice gave you! Please tell me you hated it," asked Caitlyn. Caitlyn pressed harder on Devon's shoulders, and the poor boy was at a lost for words.

"I...I...hated it," trembled Devon. His hands and feet began to shake, his chest started hurting, his heart began to race, he began to sweat, and a panic began.

"Devon, are you alright, man," exclaimed Aarti, running toward Caitlyn and Devon. Everyone else (that was in the lunchroom) ran toward Caitlyn and Devon's way, and Devon started to shake uncontrollably.

"Devon, speak to us," said a panicked Caitlyn, shaking Devon's shoulders in concern. Devon's anxiety filled the room with uneasiness and distressed it urgently. Elle scanned the room urgently for Silvia, but she wasn't in the kitchen. So wasn't Annabelle or Genius, where they had vacated the area a few minutes ago. However, Samuel was present, and this proved to be a game changer.

"Samuel, get Silvia immediately! We need her this instant," said Elle, holding Devon's shoulder. Samuel nodded and ran toward his sister, who was meditating.

"Silvia, something is wrong with Devon! Come quick, we need you in the kitchen," exclaimed Samuel. Samuel's urgent words snapped Silvia out of her meditation and prompted Annabelle and Genius nearby to worry; Samuel, Silvia, Annabelle, and Genius began to run toward the direction of the lunchroom.

Samuel, Silvia, Annabelle, and Genius reached everyone else in the lunchroom, where everyone held Devon while Caitlyn sobbed. "What is going on!" Silvia exclaimed, kneeling toward the others.

"He's having a panic attack. Do something," Ryder said.

"Okay, I will need everyone to move out of the way. I can handle this," Samuel said. Everyone nodded and moved out of the way, and Silvia faced Devon's direction. "Okay. Devon, I will need you to breathe. Can you do that for me?" said a calm Silvia. Devon began to exhale and inhale, and Caitlyn slapped her teary face.

"Devon needs space, and I'm talking the rest of the night. It's best if everyone leaves the lunchroom while I try to calm him," said Silvia. Everyone stood up, and Caitlyn held onto Devon like glue.

"I CAN'T LEAVE MY BOYFRIEND," exclaimed Caitlyn, hugging Devon in panic. Silvia pulled Caitlyn from Devon, and Devon's panic attack escalated as he pulled his hair in fear.

"Caitlyn, if you want your boyfriend to get better, you will listen to me! You do want what's best for Devon's sake!? Right," asked Silvia as Caitlyn hit her head on the ground.

"I DO, BUT MY BOYFRIEND," retorted Caitlyn, sitting up and hugging Devon tightly. Annabelle gently used her telekinesis to move Caitlyn away from Devon, and she kicked and screamed like a worried person.

"Sorry about this, Silvia. We will leave you to it," said Annabelle as they all left the kitchen.

Silvia nodded and began calming Devon's nerves as everyone left the kitchen. She had him take deep breaths, told him to think of his happy place, and many more techniques that sent tranquility through Devon's mind.

"Thanks, Silvia...I owe you on this one," said Devon, deeply breathing. He put his hands together like he was making a prayer, and Silvia gently smiled.

"It was my greatest pleasure, Devon. I highly suggest getting a good night's sleep and sleeping in for good measure," said Silvia, putting her hand on Devon's left shoulder. Devon nodded, Silvia nodded, and walked away from the calmed boy.

Devon felt calm and nervous. He didn't want to see Beatrice or Caitlyn, but he had enough excitement for the day, so he walked to his room without crossing paths with them.

He walked to his room, closed it, and began getting ready for the night. "What a day. I hope Caitlyn isn't mad at me for Beatrice kissing me. I'm surprised Beatrice didn't use love manipulation on me," said Devon, hopping into his bed and pulling the covers over his body.

However, as Devon fell asleep, Beatrice eavesdropped on his statements. "I will the next time we kiss," whispered Beatrice, walking away from Devon's room with an evil smirk. She had sly intentions, and she began her twisted love dreams as she walked to her room and got dressed for the night. She fell asleep with the utmost pleasure.
