Senior Year

The last year of high school. The last year of living in this horrid place, I'm supposed to call home. The last year I'll have to see Liam Bachman. The last year until I can check my Mom into some facility, and finally get my little sister Ellie out of here, and into our own apartment, so she can finally be happy.

I thought about this while I walked through the empty halls, of Gordon High. I had been late on account of having to take Ellie to school.

"Hey, Arianna. " Obviously the universe hadn't done enough yet. Normally I would just stand and let whatever happened pass and move on. But I had a particularly bad morning.

I tried to walk past him (seeing he was the only one there for once)but he held out his arm and push me back.

"Don't tell me you thought, just because you're late and it's the first day that you could skip this part".

"Don't tell me you thought, that I was just gonna stand here, and let you push me around, like last year," I snapped back.

Omfg. What did I just do?

He looked taken aback by how confident I sounded, and if I'm honest I was too. Once he was finished looking like a fish, he got an angry look on his face.

"Look, I don't know who told you, you could suddenly come in here acting as if you're above me, but they lied".

"You know what, Liam. I'm sick and tired of you and your bad boy act. I'm sick and tired of coming to this school. I'm sick and tired of living in this town. And I'm sick and tired of carrying everyone on my back. So excuse me, if I'm mad at you, for tormenting me for the last 3 years."

Ok, so I probably shouldn't have said that.

"Grace I-".

"You don't have a right to call me that anymore." Ok so let me explain that. Grace is my middle name. Liam used to call me that in 8th grade before he got into the wrong crowd.

"I-I'm sorry".

Wait what.

"What?", I questioned.

"I'm sorry", he said again.

"Come to my party", he said.

"I'm sorry what?"

"Come to the party", he said, "Please".

"Fine".

Omfg im an idiot.
