"It's heaven in here."
The men dwarf her kitchen that was rather wide. Lorcán is enormous.
"Dada!" Eclipse turn around so fast her neck hurt. "Dada!"
"Valeska that's not your father."
"Dada!" Eclipse want to hit herself with a pan.
"Lorcán meet Valeska." Eclipse glare at her daughter for putting her in such an uncomfortable position. This girl always does some weird things at the worst time.
"Human babies are so tiny." Valeska grab his finger using her two hands.
"Dada."
"Does she think I'm her father?" Eclipse sigh and nod. She turn back to the stove, a frown on her lips.
"Commander a father. Never thought we'll see the day."
"Do you want double demotion?"
"Sorry Commander."
Eclipse try not to laugh as she set the huge plates of food on the table.
She pick give Valeska her fruits and sit to have her own breakfast.
"This is good. I love human food."
"Where are you guys from?"
"Lumar. Its a solar system outside your solar system. We're space hunters."
"What do you hunt?"
"Criminals,"Lorcán said grimly. "All kinds of criminal you can think off."
"Is that what bring your guys here? You're after someone?"
"Yes. Two of the most dangerous criminals somehow break free of the galaxy prison and came here. They are a danger to females."
"Though we have our suspicion that they were let out on purpose,"Toran said. "Our prison is made of the the galaxy elements. Our Commander should be the only one that's able to control it. But there's someone else out there letting criminals out."
"So it's not safe to be out here then." Eclipse look at Valeska who was eating without a care in the world.
"We're giving you the choice of traveling with us. As we speak more of my soldiers are securing homes without being seen. The males will not be harmed. The targets are females."
"What if they are in another part of the world? Earth is really big."
"I track there aura here,"Torin said. He set his fork down lean back in his seat. "They are in this part. We just don't have an exact location."
"You all have different abilities."
"Yes. Torin feel auras, Xanthos control electrical energy, Theron can pull a weapon out of air, Alistair heals and I control dark matter."
"He basically has all our abilities combined."
"That's amazing."
"Sometimes. You get used to it after a while."
"So what's your answer?"
"I need to pack."
"Good. We'll be outside."
