lee felix blinked, staring up at bang chan with wide, puppy-like eyes. “be my caregiver? pretty please?” the words tumbled out, a little breathless, laced with a hope that felt too fragile to voice properly. he squeezed his plushie, a worn bunny rabbit, tighter against his chest.

chan’s lips curved into a soft, almost disbelieving smile. he knelt down, bringing his face level with felix’s. “you’re too cute to exist,” he murmured, his voice a low rumble that vibrated through felix’s chest as he leaned closer. it wasn’t a denial, not exactly. it was…a confirmation of something warm and fluttery blossoming in felix’s chest.

chan had always been…gentle with felix. not in a romantic way, not at first. just a quiet kindness, a willingness to listen to his rambling thoughts about stray cats and the perfect shade of pink for his bunny’s ears. but lately…lately, the gentleness had shifted. it was laced with a possessiveness that made felix’s cheeks burn whenever chan’s gaze lingered too long.

“so…you’ll take care of me?” felix asked, his voice barely a whisper. the bunny rabbit felt damp with his anxious sweat.

chan’s hand reached out, brushing a strand of dark hair off felix’s forehead. it felt like a brand, warm and insistent. “i already do,” he said softly, his eyes locked on felix’s. “i want to do…everything for you.”

felix’s heart thumped against his ribs. it wasn’t just the words, it was the way chan said them. a quiet admission of something deeper, something that mirrored the frantic, desperate longing that had been building inside felix for weeks.

“but…what if i’m too much?” he blurted out, the question spilling out before he could stop it. “what if i’m…messy and clingy and annoying?”

chan’s smile widened, a slow, deliberate curve that felt like a promise. “you’re all of those things,” he said, his voice laced with amusement. “and i wouldn’t trade them for anything.” he reached for felix’s hand, pulling him closer. “i want all of it.”

the contact sent a shiver down felix’s spine. chan’s hand felt warm, calloused, and strangely…right. he leaned into chan’s touch, burying his face in the crook of his neck. the scent of chan – sandalwood and something uniquely *chan* – filled his senses.

“you’re…really letting me?” felix mumbled into the fabric of chan’s shirt.

chan chuckled, a sound that vibrated against felix’s ear. “i’m letting you ruin me,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. “i’m letting you break me apart and put me back together again, piece by piece.”

felix’s head snapped up, his eyes meeting chan’s. there was something in those dark depths – a hunger, a desperation, a willingness to drown in the chaos of felix’s little world. and for the first time, felix felt…safe. not safe in a quiet, predictable way, but safe in the thrilling, terrifying knowledge that chan was just as lost, just as broken, just as utterly *obsessed* as he was.

“good,” he whispered, a shaky smile tugging at his lips. “because i’m already ruining you.”
