Nicolette Stark, or Nikki as most called her, was a whirlwind of quiet intensity. Tony Stark had found her wandering lost in the woods seven years ago, a small, frightened girl with eyes that held a haunted past. Before him, she'd been a subject in a Russian lab, a weapon they'd tried to forge through cruel experimentation. She'd escaped, leaving behind a trail of shattered protocols and a legacy of suppressed power.
Nikki possessed a rare ability: telekinesis. Coupled with an intellect honed by years of survival, she was a hacker of extraordinary skill. But her power came with a visible cost. When she used her abilities, one of her eyes would bleed into crimson, earning her the nickname "Red" amongst the Avengers. It was a visual cue, a subtle warning of the force she wielded.
As she grew older, her powers swelled, becoming both more precise and more potent. Tony, recognizing the need for control and guidance, enrolled her in the same high school as Peter Parker. He hoped the familiar setting and Peter's innate goodness would help Nikki navigate the complexities of her abilities. They became fast friends, a bond forged in shared isolation.
But Peter’s affections ran deeper than friendship. He harbored a longing Nikki didn’t yet perceive, a silent current beneath the surface of their easy camaraderie.
She was, in essence, a distillation of the strengths of those around her: a touch of Tony’s brilliance, a flicker of Natasha’s resilience, and the raw, untamed energy of Wanda Maximoff. It was a combination that made Nikki uniquely, powerfully herself.
