The morning light felt cool against her skin. She blinked, then glanced at the figure beside her, seemingly lost in sleep. Her gaze drifted down, assessing her clothes—intact, unmarked. He looked…decent. A comfortable distance separated them, an arm’s length of space and uncertainty.

A flurry of questions swirled in her mind. Was this a kidnapping? Or something stranger? Had she sleepwalked her way into this opulent room? The urge to shout bubbled up, but she stifled it. To rouse him now would be to disrupt a peace she didn't want to break. Why wake someone who clearly dreaded mornings as much as she did?

She studied him again. A frown tugged at his lips even in sleep. Was she truly being held captive, or was this some bizarre dream? Should she risk waking him to demand answers, or slip away before he stirred? The confusion threatened to overwhelm her.

His eyelids flickered open, revealing a gaze that met hers. He shook himself awake, a slow, deliberate movement. A smile touched his lips. “What’s wrong? Why are you staring at me like that?”

“How did I get here?” she asked, her voice barely a whisper.

“I brought you here. Why? What’s wrong? Don't you like the room?”

“No, no. It’s beautiful. But why am I here? Why are *you* here with me? Did Abhi send you? Oh—you’re one of his guards, who fell asleep on duty. Wait—I’ll call him, let him yell at you for this!”

She bolted from the room, shouting “Abhi!” over her shoulder. He was close behind, scrambling to catch up. Shouldn't she have shouted instead of smiled? Abhi was right about this woman, she's a mad one. She saw me, and didn't shout. Damn! I love her more for it.

The girl ran outside the room shouting Abhi and the guy also got up to run behind her. Shouldn't she shout rather than smile. Abhi said correct about this woman, she is out of her mind. She saw me and didn't shouted. Damn! I love her more.
