Finally, today was the day they both got to spend the whole day together. They’d both been waiting for ages for a chance to have a full day free, and it had finally arrived. Jimin had taken the day off work, and Taehyung was off from his part-time job.

They both slept in, catching up on much-needed rest. Taehyung was snuggled against Jimin’s chest. Jimin woke up before Taehyung, admiring the younger man’s sleeping face and beautiful features. Not long after, Taehyung stirred, waking up *in* little space.

“Morning, beautiful,” Jimin smiled, kissing the top of Taehyung’s head.

“Morning, Daddy,” Taehyung said sleepily, snuggling closer.

“What does TaeTae want to do today?” Jimin asked, and Taehyung looked up and smiled.

“Colowing!” he chirped happily, sitting up in bed.

“Alright, baby. Let’s get changed, have breakfast, and then do some coloring,” Jimin smiled, and Taehyung scrambled out of bed excitedly.

He glanced through his closet, considering what to wear.

“Daddy, TaeTae doesn’t know what to wear,” Taehyung said, pouting slightly.

“Why don’t you wear *this*?” Jimin offered, bringing out an outfit he’d chosen.

“Yesh! Thank chu, Daddy!” Taehyung giggled, and started getting dressed.

Jimin then looked through his own clothes, deciding to wear something comfy, like Taehyung.

Once Jimin had chosen his outfit, he changed and went downstairs to make breakfast for them both. Taehyung came into the kitchen and stood beside Jimin.

“What does TaeTae want for breakfast?” Jimin smiled, looking down at Taehyung.

“Can TaeTae have cereal?” he asked, and Jimin nodded.

“Yay!” Taehyung cheered, and sat at the kitchen table while Jimin prepared their cereal.

“Can Daddy feed TaeTae?” Taehyung asked, and Jimin nodded, picking up the spoon and carefully feeding Taehyung.

Taehyung finished before Jimin, so Jimin told him to get his coloring supplies while he finished his own breakfast.

“Daddy, I got colowing things!” Taehyung smiled, holding his favorite coloring book and crayons.

“I’ll be through in a minute, baby. I’ll just wash these bowls,” Jimin smiled, and Taehyung ran into the living room excitedly.

It took Jimin a few minutes to wash the bowls, dry them, and put them away. Once he was done, he joined Taehyung on the floor in front of the coffee table, where Taehyung had laid out his colors and coloring book. They started coloring, creating neat and beautiful pictures – this was Taehyung’s favorite coloring book.

“Daddy, TaeTae cold,” Taehyung said, looking at Jimin.

“Do you want Daddy to put the heating on?” Jimin asked, earning a nod from Taehyung.

Jimin got up and adjusted the thermostat. It wasn’t *that* cold, especially with a hoodie on.

The day progressed, and Taehyung complained three more times that he was cold, but Jimin didn’t think much of it. He made them both dinner, bathed Taehyung, and now it was time for bed.

“Daddy, TaeTae still cold,” Taehyung said, snuggling down into the covers.

“You’ll warm up while you sleep, okay baby? Now Daddy has a little bit of work to do, so you get some sleep, alright?” Jimin said, kissing the top of Taehyung’s head before leaving the room.

Jimin went downstairs and grabbed his laptop, starting to work on a few tasks. He lost track of time, spending about two hours on it. He was almost finished but decided to call it a night. He headed back upstairs, to the door of their shared bedroom.

He twisted the handle and opened the door quietly, careful not to wake Taehyung. When he opened it and looked toward the bed, his heart nearly stopped. Taehyung was shivering uncontrollably. Jimin ran to his side.

“Taehyung, what’s wrong?” He asked, worry filling his voice.

He gently touched Taehyung’s skin, which was as cold as ice. He didn’t know what to do. It was almost eleven at night. The only thing that came to mind was to call an ambulance. He pulled his phone from his pocket and dialed emergency services.

“Ambulance, is the patient breathing?” they asked calmly.

“Yes, my boyfriend has been complaining all day that he was cold, and when I put him to bed I went downstairs for about two hours and came back up to find him shivering uncontrollably. His skin is as cold as ice, but he’s not responding to me,” Jimin said quickly, fighting back tears.

“An ambulance will be with you shortly. For now, try to keep him as warm as you can,” the woman on the other end of the line said, and Jimin did as she instructed.

Five minutes later, the paramedics arrived. Jimin thanked the woman on the phone before hanging up and explaining everything to the paramedics.

“Please be gentle with him, I think he’s still in little space,” Jimin said, his stomach churning with anxiety.

“We will, but we need to get him to the hospital,” and Jimin nodded.

They lifted Taehyung off the bed and onto a stretcher, wheeling him into the ambulance. One of the paramedics got into the driver’s seat, activating the flashing blue lights. The other stayed inside with Jimin and Taehyung.

“So, he’s a little?” the paramedic asked, and Jimin nodded.

The paramedic pulled out his phone and called the hospital.

“Hi, we have a patient here who was complaining of being cold all day. His boyfriend found him shivering uncontrollably after being downstairs for two hours. His skin is still ice cold. He was also in little space when he went to sleep and may still be now,” the paramedic explained.

After hanging up, they began checking Taehyung’s vitals and asked the hospital to prepare for their arrival. Jimin’s worry intensified after that phone call.

“Is something wrong with him?” Jimin asked.

“If he’s still in little space, it could be dangerous. We need to get him to the hospital as fast as we can,” the paramedic said calmly, but it only heightened Jimin’s fears.

After a few more minutes, they arrived at the hospital and got Taehyung inside as quickly as possible. He was surrounded by doctors and nurses. They sent him away for some quick tests. Jimin sat in the waiting room, holding his head in his hands, worrying about Taehyung.

After an hour or two, the doctor came to find him.

“Is Taehyung alright?” Jimin asked before the doctor could say anything.

“Mr. Kim is alright. He’ll need to stay warm for the next few days and can’t do anything stressful. I suggest you be with him at all times during his recovery, especially while he’s in little space. He’ll need to stay overnight here, and most of tomorrow, then he can go home. You can go see him now,” the doctor said, and Jimin nodded.

He followed the doctor to Taehyung’s room, then stepped aside to let others check on other patients. Jimin entered Taehyung’s room. He saw Taehyung lying under the white sheets, with an IV and cannula in his arm and an oxygen mask across his face.

Jimin slowly made his way to the chair beside the bed and gently took Taehyung’s hand.

Hours later, Taehyung woke up and saw Jimin’s head resting on the mattress, sleeping.

“D-Daddy?” Taehyung asked, panicking a bit from the unfamiliar surroundings.

Jimin’s head shot up, and he looked at Taehyung.

“It’s alright, baby. You’re in the hospital. I’m so sorry I didn’t do more to help you. I’m so sorry,” Jimin said, trying to calm Taehyung down but ending up crying.

“Why is Daddy crying?” Taehyung asked.

“Because Daddy is a stupid person and didn’t help his baby more when he said he was feeling cold. Now you’re in the hospital because I didn’t do anything apart from putting the heating on, giving you a bath, and putting you to bed,” Jimin cried, blaming himself.

“Nooo, don’t cry, Daddy. TaeTae doesn’t want Daddy to cry. Look, TaeTae is better now,” Taehyung smiled, trying to get his daddy to stop crying.

Jimin looked up and saw Taehyung’s sad face. He smiled and wiped away his tears. Taehyung spread his arms out, wanting a hug, and Jimin hugged him tightly.

For the rest of the night, they fell asleep together. When morning came, they ran a few more tests on Taehyung, which took a long time because he refused, but they finally got them done. They discharged Taehyung. They both went home, and Jimin did exactly what the doctors had told him to do until Taehyung was fully recovered.
