Meeting the team// Chapter 5
"Yes! I'm so excited, volleyball is so much fun it is the best sport," Hinata added.
"Anyways, we have to go, let's go guys," Kageyama said grabbing his stuff and walking back towards the gym. Hinata lead me up to where I could watch and headed back down to change. Once Kageyama finished changing he came out and looked up for me.
Once he spotted me he quickly looked back down realizing I caught him. I grabbed some of my things out of my bag and saw that Hinata finished changing, he waved up at me. I just put a odd smile on my face and went back to my work. I did all of my homework and watched them play.
When they did there quick attack I was in awe. I had played volleyball most of my life and something like that was so amazing. I quickly moved up more to try and figure out the dynamics behind it. It was also so crazy they were able to do something like that when they were only first years.
Finally practice was over and I packed my stuff back up. I ran down the stairs and met up with Hinata.
"Hinata! You were right that quick attack was something else! I was amazed, the way you had so much," I tried to say before being interrupted.
"Woah Hinata why didn't you tell us about ur hot friend?" A boy with a buzz cut asked.
"Huh, oh! Y/n this is Tanaka and Tanaka that's y/n." Hinata spoke.
"Don't forget me, Hi i'm Noya. We could be pretty good friends," Noya told me.
"Cut it out," Another older guy said.
"Please ignore those two guys, they can be a little crazy sometimes," A silver haired boy exclaimed with a sweet smile.
"Oh, um it's fine. I was about to leave sorry for intruding," I quickly said heading towards the doors.
"Wait you don't have to go," The silver haired boy spoke. I turned around seeing the group of boys looking at me.
"Oh okay then," I declared, walking back over by the.
"Hi, i'm daichi!" The one older guy said. "The one shorty is Noya and the silver haired guy is Sugawara."
"Oh cool," I proclaimed.
"It's our pleasure to meet you!" Tanaka chimed in.
"Don't start it, oh look Kiyoko needs some help over there," Daichi responded pointing them in a direction of a girl taking down a net. The two boys quickly ran over there.
"Those guys are something," I chuckled.
"Yeah they can be a handful," Sugawara added.
"You guys are really talented, from what I have seen," I beamed.
"Thanks, that's nice of you," Sugawara thanked me.
All of a sudden Kageyama came over by us. He stood right by me and I just looked up at him.
"Have you played volleyball before?" Kageyama asked me.
"What?" I questioned confused by the sudden question.
"It's a simple question, it's not that difficult to answer," Kageyama told me.
"Kageyama be kind, you don't have to answer, Kageyama shouldn't be so rude" Daichi started to say.
"It's fine, you shouldn't have to apologize for him. Yeah, I have played before," I answered.
"You have?" Hinata questioned with excitement.
"Yes, but I don't anymore," I told him. "I should get going soon. It was nice meeting you, thanks for letting me watch practice," I added then walked out.
I could hear Hinata say my name but someone reminded him he had to help clean up. Sugawara and Daichi sure look after all the boys. They must both be third years. Those two best friends must be second, they seem a little too immature to be any older than that.
I had some extra money on me and decided to go to the vending machines and grab a drink before heading home. I put some of my money in the machine when I saw a shadow reflecting, someone was standing behind me. I turned around to notice it was Kageyama. He put his hand above my shoulder almost trapping me there.
"Ka-Kageyama?" I asked startled. He pushed some buttons on the machine then grabbed the drink.
"Thanks," He thanked.
"Hey, where are you going?" I asked him, catching up with him.
"Home, what does it look like?" He stuck the straw into the hole and started drinking the milk.
"That was my money so technically that's my drink!" I boomed. Kageyama stoped drinking it.
"Fine have some," Kageyama responded turning the straw to face my way. "Don't drink it all!"
