Another decade passed since Mori last saw Kiara
“ Wonder how that bird's doin' ”
One day, Mori noticed something unusual on the ground on a random location of the underworld, what she found was ashes of some kind of bird, the figure reminded her of Kiara, Mori just ignored it and went back to another reaping job, Mori exits the underworld and enters the surface, she took a deep breath as a start of her work
“ Guh.. ”
She started walking and started looking for all the people on her list of reaping, she slayed one after the other, stores their souls on her pockets, time after time, she travels, looking for others
Until, on a random location on a forest, she, once again found Kiara, she slowly sighs and called out for Kiara
“ Hey! ”
Kiara turns around, she was startled and backed off
“ w-what do you want? ”
Kiara asked with another shaky voice
“ Guh, stop foolin' around bird, I don't have time for games ”
Kiara looks at Mori confusingly with no idea why she is being called "bird"
“ "Bird?" ”
“ Ah, I see where this is goin', you want me to call your name, is that it? Is that why you're playing 'round? ”
Said Mori, Kiara tried to speak but Mori called her by her name
“ uhh.. ”
“ right right, whatever, Kiara ”
The moment Kiara heard her name she backed off more, scared
“ H-how do you know my name? ”
Mori sighed more
“ Look, I dont have a goddamn time to talk with you, I shouldn't have bothered you in the first place— ”
“ Who are you? ”
Kiara asked Mori, Mori then stopped speaking and looked at Kiara
“ W-what do you mean who am I?, You know who I am, Stop messing around! ”
Kiara was startled when Mori shouted
“ What are you talking about? I-I really don't know who you are! ”
“ . . . ”
Mori stayed silent, knowing Kiara wasn't really messing around, At that time, Mori felt a pinch inside her chest, tingles on both her arms, She doesn't know what to do or say, she thought something's wrong with her human body, She looks at Kiara with a serious look in her eyes, Kiara felt unsafe so she slowly walked backwards then ran away from Mori, Mori just stayed silent and watched Kiara, Run away from her, since Kiara's death mark hasn't appeared yet, her time to met death isn't coming yet as well, so Mori just turned around and slowly walked away, it appears that Kiara has forgotten about Mori and her times with her, Mori decided to not talk to Kiara any further and just stick to her job as a reaper
“ Damn it, all that hard work with that sh-t bird, paid for her to forget me? Bullsh-t ! ”
Mori ended her shift and went back to the underworld
Meanwhile, Kiara went inside her hut in the middle of the forest
“ Who the heck was that? She looks so scary.. And she has like.. A scythe ”
Kiara looks at the window to see if Mori was following her
“ Looks like she didn't follow me.. Phew.. ”
Kiara sat down on a chair figuring out who Mori was, she sighed as she looks at the window
“ Guh! ”
Mori throws her scythe to the corner with her rage
“ Damn you Sh-tbird! ”
Mori kept on raging then Death-sensei appeared in the front door
“ Calliope. ”
Mori stopped then turns to her sensei
“ D-Death-sensei, I didn't see you there, forgive me ”
“ Its okay Calliope, So, what's the matter?, why is my apprentice mad about? ”
Death-sensei asked, Mori then looks down then spoke
“ It's nothing sir, It's not that important ”
“ Is that so.. Well if it gets worse you should get some advice with that Phoenix ”
Said Death-sensei
“ yeah, I guess sir. ”
With that being said, Death-sensei disappeared to ashes and the ashes soon disappeared as well, Mori then sat back down and sighed
“ But not when she doesn't remember me.. ”
