Y/N’s POV
I knocked on the door, a playful anticipation building within me.
*Lmao you thought,* a mischievous voice echoed in my head.
Before anyone could answer, I pushed the door open and, in a burst of clumsy energy, headbutted my forehead against Jin’s chest. Being vertically challenged had its drawbacks, especially when it resulted in a comical tumble onto his broad frame as he stumbled backward.
“Sorry, Mom,” I said with mock respect, a grin tugging at my lips.
“THE DOORBELL IS RIGHT THERE. AND YOU HAVE FREAKING TWO HANDS TO KNOCK,” Jin retorted, his voice booming with playful exasperation.
“Oh, don’t be such a princess,” I teased, my voice laced with affection.
He said nothing, merely flicked his hair and rose to his feet, pulling me up with him into a warm hug.
“Nice to see you, it’s been a month since I saw you,” he said, his voice softening.
“AHHHHH SHE’S BACCC!” Hoseok’s joyous shout erupted as he enveloped both me and Jin in a bear hug.
“Damn who- oh, Y/N,” Yoongi’s voice cut through the exuberance, his usual stoicism momentarily eclipsed by a rare smile.
“Hey, where are the others?” I asked, eager to reunite with the rest of the group.
“In their rooms, everyone’s been chilling since they got back from tour yesterday,” Yoongi explained.
“I’ll just go meet up with them personally then,” I decided, turning towards Namjoon’s door.
“I’m cooking lunch,” Jin added, his voice hinting at a culinary feast to come.
I quietly opened Namjoon’s door, peering through the crack. A mischievous impulse took over. I slipped inside and wrapped my arms around him in a side hug, watching for his reaction. He looked startled for a moment, then broke into a warm smile.
He smelled like dimples. It was a peculiar sensation, a subtle scent that somehow evoked the soft curve of his smile.
“Hiii,” I murmured, nestling closer.
“Hey Y/N, you came,” he responded, his voice laced with warmth.
“Of course I would,” I affirmed, tightening my embrace.
“Did you see Tae yet?” he asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice.
“No… not yet,” I admitted.
“Are you going to tell him? You were constantly messaging me about wanting to tell him when we came back from tour,” he pressed, his gaze searching.
“I did,” I confessed, my heart fluttering with a mix of anticipation and trepidation.
Here’s the thing. I may or may not have a tiny crush on Taehyung. I mean... Who am I kidding? I do. And I realized over months, after they went for tour, I have fallen in love with this guy. But he doesn't know it yet. I told Namjoon, but no one else. I'm just afraid Tae will friendzone me.
“Y/N?” Namjoon’s voice snapped me back to reality.
“Yeah yeah, I’ll probably tell him,” I replied, trying to sound nonchalant.
“You sure?” he asked, his voice laced with concern.
“Yeah… I don’t think I can hold it in anymore,” I confessed, a blush creeping onto my cheeks.
He gave me a worried look, and I decided to leave his room.
“Also, Jimin and Jungkook just came from a photoshoot. They might be in JK’s room,” he shouted after me.
I headed toward Jungkook’s room, my heart pounding with anticipation. And there they were. Jungkook asleep, and Jimin doing… well, Jimin.
I jumped onto the couch, intending to photobomb. Jungkook jolted awake, his eyes wide with surprise. Jimin’s expression was one of utter shock. It was the perfect moment for a picture.
Kookie saw me and lay on my lap. UwU.
He fell back into sleep.
Jimin glared at me, his expression a mixture of annoyance and amusement.
UwU.
He pouted.
“Oh, come on, I’m going to die from this cuteness. My UwU machine is already broken,” I declared, my voice dripping with playful affection.
“I missed you,” Jimin said softly, his gaze softening.
“I missed all of you,” I responded, my voice filled with sincerity.
Jimin lay on top of Jungkook’s chest, pretending to sleep. Great now I have 2 men sleeping on my lap.
Two very good looking men who makes me looks like garbage compared to them.
“Can I just-,” I began, trying to wiggle myself out from under them.
But then Jungkook and Jimin both opened their eyes and looked at my face. Their heads still rested on my lap.
“Don’t go…” Kookie whined.
I died.
“Okay seriously, guys get off. My legs… it hurts,” I said, and Jungkook shot up from my lap, sending Jimin tumbling across the couch.
“Hey! Jun-,” Jimin started to protest.
“Don’t fight please,” I pleaded.
“……Okay.”
Jungkook side hugged me from the left side, Jimin from the right.
“We love youuu,” Jungkook said, his voice muffled against my hair.
“I love you two, too,” I replied, my heart swelling with affection.
They hugged me too tightly, and I pushed them by their stomachs to separate myself from them. I felt their hard abs.
“Damn you guys. You grew abs,” I blurted out before I could stop myself.
Jimin smirked, and Jungkook winked.
Oh no. I shouldn’t have said that.
“Okay bye,” I blurted out, scrambling out of the room.
I heard whines behind me but didn’t turn back. Last time I complimented them, they transformed from cute puppies to hot tigers in 0.2 seconds, and I was terrified.
I then went to Tae’s room. I was nervous, but I shook it off. We’re just friends now… I’ll just act like it.
