Chapter 5
Lisa's P.O.V It was Monday again and I really didn't want to go to school. But I'm not going to let a stupid word ruin my day.
I walked into the school Chae drove me there, she stood by me. I gave her a nervous look as I hear people whispering around us.
"Shut up would you!" Chae yelled to one of them and them went quiet.
"What's your problem!?" One of the girls suddenly said yelling back.
"EXCUSE ME IM YOUR UPPERCLASS THAT IS NOT HOW YOU—" I stopped Chae by putting my hand on her shoulder "Let's not bother them it's there school too" I said with small sad smile, the bowed there heads "SORRY SUNBAE BUT WE WEREN'T TALKING ABOUT YOU!?" They said in loud strong voices and bowed there heads and hurried away.
"You see people have already lived on from the incident from last night, but we're still going to figure out who did that to you, I'll see you later" Chae said as I started walking to my locker.
There was a huge crowd around it, I tried to peek my head to see what they were all looking at. I pushed past some people and finally made it, and quickly got my books to head to class.
I walked into English I saw Jungkook sitting in the back of the class with glasses on zoning out at the window. I walked over to my seat in front of him and set my things down, he snapped out of his trance and stared up at me.
"Why are you wearing glasses" I said sitting down and turning to look at him "Lalisa Manoban caring about me" he said with a smirk, I scrunched my nose in disgust "Ugh you're disgusting" I said turning around and the teacher walked in.
As the lesson went on I started to close my eyes, I didn't get any sleep last night thinking about the past events at the party. I felt a pencil hit my head, I turn to look at Jungkook "Is there something you need?" "Did you cry?" He said and was taken back by his question "Of course not" I turned back around but then I felt a notebook hit my head. "What the fuck Jungkook!" I whispered yelled "But your eyes are puffy" "Fine I did now shut up" I flicked his forehead he winced in pain I turned around with a satisfied smile.
(Lunch break)
I sat at my usual table with Chae, I looked over at Mina and Hoon who were feeding each other, I made a disgusted face. "He's a rat that doesn't deserve you, I bet you he's the person that did it" Chae said and I laughed, and started thinking back "When I broke up with him he had a black eye" I said and Chae shrugged her shoulders. Jimin, Jungkooks sat down next to me all of a sudden
"I heard Jungkook went over to him and punched him" Jimin said "He did WHAT!?" I Grabbed Jimin's collar "OH MY GOD! Lisa listen don't take your anger out on me" Jimin shrieked. I looked over at Jungkooks usual table he wasn't sitting there "WHERE IS HE!?" I said bringing Jimin closer to my face with a scary look "I-I don't know, I think he said the library, the one a block from the school" "Guess I'm going to have to skip lunch" I said getting up "And would you two just talk like adults" I said to Chae and Jimin who's faces were flushed red.
The school only lets us go out for lunch every now and then, but not many do it. I strutted down the block and when I took a turn I bumped into Someone and her hot coffee spilled all over me.
I whined in pain, she looked shocked and started handing me napkins "I'm so sorry" she said, I looked up and the girl was beautiful, I can tell she didn't go to our school our uniform is red hers was blue and kind of looks like Hoseoks college uniform.
"It's totally fine it was my fault anyways, do you perhaps go to college?" She looked at me with a warm smile
"Yes I do, I'm Yoonah by the way"
"Lisa" I looked down at my watch
"Is there anyway I can make it up to you? I know that coffee was burning hot"
"Umm well I don't really have many friends it would be nice, if you could—"
"I'd love too" she said taking her phone out to give me her number.
"I'm sorry but I have to get going, here I hope this is enough" I said taking out ten dollars and gave it to her "Wait no It's fine—" I ran off to go find Jungkook, before she can finish.
I entered the library and it was filled with more people then I thought
"Excuse me young lady but do you have a library card" an old lady who works at the front desk asks me, at the same time I spotted Jungkook reading a book, with his stupid glasses on.
"I'm sorry ma'am I'm just here to find someone and leave" I said hoping she would say yes. She raised her eyebrow giving me an unsure look but gave me gave me a nod.
I strutted over to Jungkook and hid behind one of the shelf's and observed him. I hear a group of girls from our school lower classmates the two friends pushed the main girl to him and giggled. Jungkook looked up with a confused look.
"I Uhh Jungkook Oppa..." I cringed at the nickname, Jungkook seemed awfully satisfied, he put his book down and looked at the girl who was nervous
"I-I just want to let you know t-that I—"
"Like me?" He finished the sentence for her, he pinned her up on the bookshelf I was hiding behind, I quickly ducked, and used my hand to cover my face.
The girls face turned completely red at what he did, while Jungkook kept that smirk of his on "Y-yes and I was wondering if you would go o-out with—" "No, you're not my type" Was all Jungkook said before starting to walk away "Upper class Jungkook Oppa!" She said in a strong but nervous voice he turned around "I-if you give me a chance I can learn to be your type" she said. Wow she's really trying, do girls always throw themselves at Jungkook.
I've had enough of that I feel bad for her and Jungkook doesn't know it "YAH!" I yelled coming out Jungkook didn't flinch but the girl did "Listen, you don't want this rude horrible self centered pervert, go find yourself a nice boy that'll treat you right" I said, and the girl was pulled away by her two other friends.
"I was wondering when you'll come out" he said going back to his book
"Ughh how self centered can you be" I said
"Instead of insulting me, Why are you even here who told you?!"
"None of your business, but I do want to know, did you punch Hoon in the face?"
He paused for a second then laughed.
"Lisa why would I even care, I wouldn't waste a good punch on that guy" I didn't believe him at first. He started waking around and I followed behind.
He turned around and pinned me one of the bookshelf's "W-what are you doing get off me you pervert" I said pushing him off "You're the one following me like a lost puppy" I rolled my eyes.
We walked outside of the library back to the school
"What happened to you?!" He said pointing down at the coffee stain
"I met this nice girl, and she spilled her coffee on me"
"How is that nice, did she at least pay you?"
"I paid her" I said and Jungkook stopped and grabbed my shoulders to face him.
"Are you dumb!" He said and I narrowed my eyes and pushed his hands off of me
"No, it was technically my fault I bumped into her and spilled her coffee's"
"Why were you in rush?"
"I told you already I thought you punched Hoon"
"I lied to you, I did" Jungkook said
"YOU WHAT!?" I yelled and he started running very fast as a chased after him.
Once we got inside the school he hid in the crowd. I felt someone grab my arm and pull me into the girls bathroom
"Chae?" I said once I was facing Chae face to face, her face was red and she was freaking out.
"Are you sick!?" I said going to feel her forehead but she slapped my hands away.
"Lisa you're coming to a dinner with me" she said jumping up and down
"Woah explain, I just wanna chill at home besides Hoseok grounded Jungkook and I"
"Well Jimin invited you and I to a dinner and there's a surprise"
"Surprise?"
"Yea" was all she said getting ready to leave but I pulled her back.
"Chae come on you know I can't" I said facepalming myself
"Lisa come on you're 17, going to be 18 very soon you're practically an adult you either man up to him or you sneak out"
"But what if—"
"No buts it's at 5:00pm don't be late" she said and left the bathroom.
I groaned and looked down at my watch "I have Gym!" I ran outside the bathroom and down the halls I was running so fast to Gym it was on the west side of the school and I was on the east.
I wasn't watching where I was going I bumped into a teacher and fell down, he dropped all these papers. Oh my god why am I bumping into so many people today it's like a I have two left feet.
I started picking up all the papers I dropped
"I'm so sorry sir I didn't mean—"
"These actions have consequences Miss Manoban" I look up I've never seen this teacher in my life before how does he know my name?
"Your cousin Hoseok used to be in this school he was quit a troublemaker, I guess it runs in the family" I panicked, what do I say?
"I-I'm sure later on you can see that my cousin and I are very different"
"Not another word you have detention today staying after school hours"
I got up and handed him his papers.
Suddenly someone took the papers from my hands and it wasn't the teacher. I turn to the side to see this beautiful man standing in front of me "Young man what do you think you're doing, do you want detention as well?" the teacher said to him "I'm sorry sir but my friend here was late and the teacher asked me to get her" he said "Very well...." the teacher looked at me again with a death stare I straightened my posture "Your lucky he was here" The teacher grabbed the papers and stormed away from us.
"Thanks you saved my ass" I said and let out a breath he smirked his hands were in his pockets and walked closer to me and arched his back to the level of my face, my face went very red.
"What class are you going too? I'll walk you" he smiled I gulped
"O-oh you d-don't have to" I said this guy smiled and I almost passed away right there.
"Please let me I haven't made any friends here yet and you seem very nice"
"You're new here?"
"Yep, just transferred Im Kim Taehyung" he said sticking out his hand with a cheeky smile. He seemed so determined and happy, he made me smile
I was so ready to shake his hand until I feel someone pull me into there chest. It took my surprised and so did Taehyung because his smile disappeared that moment.
I look up only to meet the bottom of Jungkooks face. "Jungkook!" I yell pushing him off me "Yah Lisa who's he?" Before I can answer he answered "I'm Taehyung, Kim Taehyung" "You're that rich boy that transferred here today" Jungkook said "Rich?" I said looking at Taehyung in disbelief "I didn't want to tell you Lisa because you seemed to not know, that's why I like you" "Hey watch what you say like you can have many meanings!" Jungkook said I elbowed him in the stomach, he winced not pain I whispered to him "Shut up you're ruining the connection" "Connection my ass—" "I WILL LOVE TO BE YOUR FRIEND" I yelled so he wouldn't hear Jungkook.
The bell rang "great I missed a class" I groaned I checked the time on my watch "I have one more class left is that walking you to class offer still available" I smiled to Taehyung he smiled back "What class?" "English" I smiled and we started walking "YAH LISA WAIT FOR ME!" Jungkook said following me I sighed and rolled my eyes.
(Time skip)
The rest of the day was a drag and very boring but I couldn't get Taehyung out of my head, he's just so dreamy and nice he's definitely a breather from this toxic household with Jeon Jungkook.
I ran to my room as fast I could to get ready for that dinner I had with Chae and Jimin. I hear my phone beep from a notification
UNKOWN: Hey it's Yoonah
Me: Oh hi
Yoonah: I was wondering if we can meet up to make up for to day, if can't I understand it's weird since I'm a stranger
Me:
No it's fine, I actually am going to dinner would you like to come?
Yoonah: Really? Thanks can my younger brother come he won't be much trouble
Me: Of course I'll send you the address *sends andress*
Yoonah: See you there
After I got ready I went to the balcony. I could just ask Hoseok, but he'll say no I'm just going by to have to risk myself and jump off. Lalisa think about this you know what fuck it if I really hope I don't hurt myself.
I started getting on until I felt someone grab my sleeve. I look down and it was Jungkook his hair was swaying in the wind he was breathing hard, and had a worried expression on his face. My eyes soften up looking at him he seemed like he cared a lot.
"Lisa... w-what are you doing!?" He said and I looked down at the landing and then back at him.
I got off the ledge and gulped and looked away from his eyes. His hand was still holding my sleeve. "You can hurt yourself what we're you thinking" he said and I looked at him "Why are you here you ruined my plan" I said "REALLY! Look at how high you were going to jump! And that's what you care about?" he said "I get it your mad" I sighed and looked away he grabbed my chin to look at him "I wasn't mad I-I just i-it's just..." my eyes widened
