V -Hesitation & Promise-
The day passed by fast. Tomorrow will start yet another test to determine who will be in the regulars will pass and continue to climb the tower.
Morning.
"Oh, is this Khun your talking about Bam?" Endorsi ask as she put her tray to the table.
"Yeah, Khun-san they are from another test area..." Bam then introduced them one by one.
"I see..." Khun stared at Endorsi. Since Endorsi is a Jahad princess, he was wondering if she knew his true identity as one of the leaders of JSF(Jahad Special Force).
Endorsi noticed Khun was staring at her. "Is something wrong?" She ask.
"Nothing."
Endorsi then smirked at him. I see so she knew. Khun said to himself.
After that when everyone is about to bring back the tray to the Kitchen.
As Khun left the table... "I hope you don't tell anyone." Khun whispered to Endorsi.
"Don't worry. Im not interested in it. It looks trouble anyway." She said with a smirk.
After that they go to their respected classes. It was the last day of the class. Afterwards the classes ended, While Khun is waiting for Bam in front of his classroom.
"That guy is a monster! How can he learn it that fast!? It's not normal!" A guy in a blonde and long hair grumbled as he left the room.
Khun look at him as he left wondering of who might he be talking about. When...
"Khun-san!" Bam called him. "Is something wrong?"
"No. Let's go?"
While walking back to their room. Bam told Khun his accomplishments to his class.
Khun's eyes widened when he heard it. He was surprised that Bam learned a lot faster than normal. He then started to be more curious about Bam.
Bam look at Khun, Khun was somehow lost in his thoughts. "Khun-san are you okey?" He asked.
Khun was a little startled. "Yeah, I am." He smiled. Bam then smiled back at him.
When they came back to their room. Rak was eating while watching TV. Bam then excused himself to take a bath, while Khun lay in his bed and stared at the ceiling to wait for Bam to finish.
Bam really is mysterious... first is that he wears the same necklace that the great family leaders have. Second is he doesn't remember half of his memories as a child... He also looks like it was his first time in the tower, It's weird... Khun thought to himself.
As he was analyzing his thoughts about Bam. For a second, the thought of the irregular crossed his mind. He was surprised that the conclusion he got lead him to the irregular.
"It can't be..." He said as he doesn't want to believe that it might be Bam. Maybe Bam was just really talented and maybe his place was very different from here... he said as to convince himself. "Tch! this isn't like me... Why am i hesitating like this?"
Even though Bam is a fast learner he doesn't look like strong at all and he doesn't look like a threat too... Khun sighted. "Let's just forget this for now..."
"Khun-san, you can take a bath now." Bam said with a smile drying his hair with a towel.
Khun look at Bam. Bam's smile has always been innocent. he said to himself. He then smiled back to Bam. That time instead of doubting Bam, Khun decided to protect that smile because somehow that smile never knew doubt. He was attracted.
"Bam, can you make a promise with me?" Khun asked.
"Okey. What kind of promise?"
"Promise, that will climb the tower together until we reach the top." Khun said as he point his finger upward.
"...Yeah. Promise." Bam smiled. but, that time Bam hesitated a little to make a promise. He is not certain that they will be together in the future, since Khun doesn't know his real purpose of climbing the tower.
But, he still promised. So that when the time comes for them to be seperated, he will still have a promise to hold on.
And so the time has come to the next test for the regulars. Bam, Khun and Rak prepared themselves for the test.
The administrator called all the regulars in a meeting room and divided them into two groups to take the test.
Unfortunately, Bam and Khun are in different groups. The administrator then lead the groups to their own rooms. When almost everyone is outside of the room.
When Khun and Bam was about to leave the room, Bam stopped walking. Khun did the same. Wondering why Bam stopped walking.
"It's a liitle disappointing that were not in the same group." said Bam.
Khun smiled at him. "It's okey Bam. Just do your best!" He said as he pat Bam's head.
When Bam saw Khun's smile, he suddenly felt an urge to hug him and so he did. "Mm!"
Khun's eyes widened. "Bam!?" He was startled to Bam's action.
Bam was also surprised to what he did. "S-sorry." He said as he let go of Khun. Bam was looking down as he if he was just rejected.
Khun look at Bam, he notice Bam was kind of down. "Pfft. come here." said Khun as he spread his arms sideward, inviting Bam to come in between.
Bam was surprised, but without any hesitation he hug Khun again. This time Khun hug him back.
They were like that for a minute. Khun notice his heart is beating fast than normal, Bam did too, but even though it's like that, It was the first time they felt relax in someone else arms.
It cannot be Bam... Khun thought to himself.
While they were still hugging Khun whispred "Goodluck" to Bam's ear and let go. He then smiled at Bam. Bam started to blush and smiles out of happiness.
Afterwards.
"The test is called Hide and Seek" said Hansung Yu and explained the rules of the game. "And so the first group who will take the test is group A."
It was Khun's group. The game was hard but, it became easier because of Khun's strategy. Everyone thought they will win but, unexpectedly they lost.
Khun-san is really amazing! Even though they lost, he was still awesome! Said Bam, complimenting Khun to himself as he was watching the team A's test into their room.
"What the? Did he just lost on purpose? Why?" Lero Ro asked as he was confused of Khun's action.
"He must." Said Hansung Yu and smirked. "So that B team can win. He doesn't need to mind his teammates because even if they lost. Khun will still pass since he was a best-seed." He explained.
I know his a best-seed but, He must...? Is there someone in the group B he wants to win so much that he sacrificed his own test? Lero Ro wondered as he watch the regulars test in a big a screen.
It's now your turn Bam... Said Khun as it's team B's turn to take the test now.
The test for the team B then began. Their team is having a difficulty in the test unlike the team A because they are not united but, with endorsi in the group, they somehow manage to win the test.
Khun who was watching the test for the last minute smiled. Now we can continue to climb the tower together Bam.
After that another night came. Tomorrow, they will have their last test.
Khun sighted as he sat in the bed. "That was tiring~"
"I thought your going to win Khun-san, your strategy was good!" Bam said with a big smile.
"Yeah, well... I thought too." It was on purpose though he said to himself.
"Hmp! As i thought your not strong enough to be my prey turtles!" Rak said.
"What is this gator saying?"
The two of them started arguing. Bam laugh at them as he look at the two.
Meanwhile...
While humming happily, Hansung Yu stir his coffee.
"You look like your having fun." A voice of a girl said.
"Hm? Well, tomorrow is the day." He said. "make sure you do your job properly. Hwaryun."
