Unknown Perspective

They took them. Curious. They won't know how to manage them like I do. I’ll simply have to guide them.

Natasha’s Perspective

[Y/N] was still asleep when we reached Avengers Tower—yes, they have the Tower. Honestly, I didn’t blame them. The poor thing must have endured so much. Their wings were… unexpected. I didn’t want to wake them, so I picked them up and carried them off the ship. Stepping onto the balcony, I carried them inside. It was stumbling slightly on the steps that roused them with a gasp.

Their wings unfurled, pushing against the ceiling. I took a step back. Fear can empower someone, and we have no idea what [Y/N] is capable of.

“Hey, hey, hey,” I said, raising my hands. “It’s okay. You’re safe now.” They looked at me warily, slowly descending to the ground. “Good, good.” I lowered my hands.

“Am I going to be put in a cell?” They asked, their voice weak. Their [e/c] eyes searched my face. I was about to answer when Tony walked in, already out of his suit.

“Of course not,” he said. “We’ll give you a room. You’re not a prisoner here, we want you *with* us.” Their eyes widened.

“You want me… to be one of you?” Their voice faltered. Tony grinned.

“Of course! We’ve heard you’re pretty powerful.” I swear I saw a flicker of fear cross their face. Tony noticed it too. “We won’t force you, but we’d like you to consider it.” He slung an arm around their shoulders, and I saw them tense. After a moment, they relaxed. Tony stuck his tongue out at Bucky, who was now behind me with Steve.

“Real mature,” I laughed. Bucky rolled his eyes. Steve came to stand beside me.

“How old are you, kid?” he asked.

“Around seventeen, sir, I think,” they responded. He nodded thoughtfully. We all knew they were older than seventeen, but without knowing how long they’d been held captive, their perception of time was likely warped. It was safe to assume they had lost track.

“I’ll show you to your room,” I told them. “I’ll introduce you to the others later.” They nodded slowly. I led them to the floor with their room, showing them inside. They walked in cautiously and sat on the bed. “Now, [Y/N], I’m going to lock the door, but it’s for your safety. You’re not a prisoner, and if you need anything—anything at all—call out to Jarvis. One of us will come immediately.” They looked apprehensive but nodded. I closed and locked the door. I needed to discuss [Y/N] with the others. They'll be a valuable asset.
