“MY MILKSHAKE BRINGS ALL THE BOYS TO THE YARD!” Taehyung bellowed, his voice echoing through the room.

He’d been dancing with unrestrained energy, a whirlwind of limbs and laughter, clad only in his boxers. Exhausted and exhilarated, he launched himself onto Jimin’s back, expecting to be carried to school.

“Jimin, take me to school, you peasant!”

Jimin shook his head, a wry smile playing on his lips. “First of all, Tae, I’m your *hyung*. Second of all, we’re not going to school today. I’m moving out—with Yoongi.” He struck a pose, arms outstretched, mimicking Superman in flight.

“WHAT? I’m getting a new roommate and I didn’t even know?” Taehyung’s voice rose in dramatic protest, collapsing onto the floor in a theatrical heap.

“Huh? You didn’t know? Want to see a picture?” Jimin asked, already unlocking his phone. He scrolled through images, then displayed a heavily edited photograph of a boy.

Taehyung’s head lifted momentarily, his eyes fixed on the screen. Then, as if struck by an invisible force, he fell back to the floor, gasping for air. His eyes widened with a mixture of shock and disbelief. The image on the screen had stolen his breath away.
