Well hello there! Yes you, I'm pointing and talking to you. Yup you right there. That's right. Now come here. Nice! You look so beautiful. (Cringe)
Let me introduce myself. My name is Chae Eun. Kim Chae Eun. I'm nineteen years old. My dad is alive. As for my mother… I have no idea where she is. And then there's my annoying brother, Kim Jaebum. He attends Hankook University, while I'm at Seoyul University.
(????: I know it’s Im Jaebum, but I changed it. Please don’t be mad, Igot7s ???? Ily ❤️)
Now, let me tell you my life story…
•Chae Eun’s POV•
“Get up, Eun! You’re going to be late on your first day!”
My dad snatched my pillow and yanked open the curtains.
“Ugh. Five more minutes.”
I burrowed under the blanket.
Dad ripped the blanket away. You see, I’m a “rough-sleeper”—the kind who unknowingly pulls their dress up in the middle of the night because it gets too hot and you start sweating…
“Gah!”
My dad flinched when he saw my SpongeBob panties.
“I think *I* should be the one saying that! Pervert! Oppa! Appa is a pervert!”
I screamed, pulling my dress down.
“What?!”
Jaebum rushed into my bedroom, panting.
“Congratulations on discovering Dad’s ultimate secret! Appa is a pervert! Byuntae~!”
Jaebum mocked him, and Dad rolled his eyes.
“You can’t say that! I’m your father. Who taught you to be so… perverted?”
Dad put his hands on his hips.
“Science class.”
We both smirked, causing Dad’s cheeks to flush pink.
“Oh my gosh! Dad’s blushing!”
Jaebum fanboyed, while I rolled my eyes.
“Sometimes, I doubt you’re my older brother. How can someone be so childish?”
__
“Yup! I’m ready! Phew.”
I stopped, trembling, as I reached the Uni’s entrance. Sweat dripped down my forehead. I needed to use the bathroom—I was too nervous.
“First day of University… here goes nothing.”
Someone interrupted me, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.
“Hey! I’m Bam Bam! I’m kinda like the school’s eyes and ears. You’re the new girl, right? Kim Chae Eun?”
He smiled, and I looked at him awkwardly.
“Y-Yeah…”
My face instantly flushed pink. I bit my lips nervously.
“So let me help you with some things. You can wander around campus before class starts, and you can find me anywhere, anytime. You should come dab with me in the park too, if you’re ever free!”
He smiled again and dabbed like a fool, leaving me dumbfounded.
“That’s not even helpful.”
I squinted my eyes and shook my head.
“Okay, back to my sentence. First day of Uni. Here goes no—”
“Heya there! You’re quite cute! What’s your name, little girl?”
Someone wrapped his arms around my waist this time. I huffed, rolling my eyes.
“Is this how you hit on girls? I can give you some lessons on how to flirt. Because you’re horrible at it.”
I glared at him, and he ran away.
“Ugh! From the top. First day of Uni. Here goes not—”
I stomped into the school hallway, and my eyes whirled with students. Everyone was in groups, and there I was, standing alone like a lost puppy.
My chest tightened as everyone stared. Memories from my last university flooded my mind.
Yup. I’d been bullied so badly I almost committed suicide. So Dad switched me to this University, and luckily, I’d been accepted.
“Okay. Heads up, chest up, smile, and ask for directions. As simple as pooping.”
I mumbled to myself and approached a group of girls who looked… intimidating.
“H-Hey. Do you know whe—”
“No we don’t. Fuck off, bitch.”
One of the girls shot me a death glare. I walked backwards, leaving them alone.
“Definitely don’t want to mess with them.”
I shook my head.
I saw some boys chatting in a corner. I approached them and smiled.
“Hi, I’m new here, and would you mind showing me the principal’s office?”
One of the boys—the one who looked like he was about to devour me—turned his head. He didn’t say anything. He just stared.
Then he leaned in, close to my neck, and *sniffed*.
I backed up, staring at him. His eyes… were turning red.
He ignored my gaze, moving closer and closer. He was breathing on my neck. My body froze. I didn’t know what to do.
This was the first time someone had ever done this to me.
“Shh…”
He backed away, glaring at me one last time before turning back to his friends.
Well, that was weird. What was up with his eyes? Maybe I was imagining things. I don’t believe in magic or anything.
Though, he *was* handsome, too. Just saying.
“Third time’s a charm.”
I muttered to myself and approached a group of girls who looked promising.
“Erm. Excuse me? Would you mind helping me?”
I smiled widely, and a girl turned to me.
“Sure! I suppose you’re new here, right?”
She flashed me a smile and extended her hand.
I shook her hand and told her I needed to find the principal’s office.
“Sure. Follow me. By the way, I’m Lee Ji Eun, or some people call me IU.”
She gestured for me to follow, and I nodded.
“First day of school… not so bad after all. Other than that mysterious guy…”
To Be Continued.
