~~Y/N's POV~~ The closet felt stifling, Aaron and I practically nose-to-nose. “Okay, you two need to make out for ten minutes!” A voice shouted from the living room. Likely Aphmau. “I-I thought it was only seven minutes!” Aaron protested. “Nope! You two aren’t enthusiastic enough, so it’s ten minutes now!” Travis retorted. My own brother! I was already mentally drafting a plan for tomorrow’s revenge. “B-but—” I started, before Aphmau cut me off. “No buts! If you keep stalling, we’ll add more time. Fifteen minutes, starting now!” I was certain both our faces were burning crimson. “I guess we have to…” Aaron whispered. “We don’t *have* to. We could just talk and hope they don’t hear us,” I suggested, desperately. “Yeah, but wouldn’t that make you a quitter? You said you’d never be one.” Aaron responded, a challenging glint in his eyes.

*~~~•Flashback•~~~* “Aaron! You’re going too fast! I can’t keep up!” I yelled during a run. “I thought *you* were the faster one, Y/N!” Aaron called back, laughing. He slowed down slightly. “If you just want to quit, I understand.” “No! I’m not a quitter, and I never will be!” I growled, a surge of frustration pushing me forward. I watched him slow down, then surged ahead, reaching the park first. Turning, I faced him. “Hey! You cheated, Y/N!” He complained. I laughed, watching him catch up.  “We technically never made any rules,” I reminded him, smiling.

•~~~*Flashback Over*~~~• “I’m not a quitter, and I never will be,” I whispered, a small laugh escaping. He slowly leaned in, and I wrapped my arms around his neck, meeting his lips as his arms tightened around my waist.

~~Aaron's POV~~ Someone knocked on the closet door after what felt like only a few minutes. “You two can come out now,” they said. It was Travis. I wondered how betrayed Y/N felt, knowing her brother was part of this. But she wasn’t a quitter, not really. Y/N and I slowly separated, pulling apart as the door opened. I was sure our faces were just as red as everyone giggled. “Okay, Y/N, your turn,” I said, trying to act as if nothing had happened. “Is Aaron embarrassed?” Aphmau giggled. I growled softly and sat down. Y/N sat too, looking at Aphmau. “Aphmau, your dare is to kiss Garroth.”

~~Y/N's POV~~ I was jolted awake by people shaking me. “Y/N, Aph’s mom is here! We need to go!” Someone whispered-shouted. I sat up quickly, hitting my head against Laurance’s. I saw Katelyn and Aaron trying to open the window, Kawaii~Chan attempting to wake Zane. When did Zane even get here? And when did I fall asleep? *~~~•Flashback•~~~* ~~3rd POV~~ As the game continued, Y/N’s eyes started to droop. She kept forcing them open, but sleep was inevitable. Her eyes finally closed, and she slumped against the shoulder of the person closest to her—Aaron. His face flushed red as everyone laughed and giggled. ‘Luckily Y/N is a heavy sleeper,’ Aaron thought. He cared about her, but didn’t know if she felt the same way.

*~~~•Flashback End•~~~* ~~Aaron's POV~~ Why won’t this window open? Aph is downstairs, trying to explain to her mom why we’re still awake. Hopefully, she’s having more luck. Katelyn and I continued to pry at the window. Y/N came over and started helping. The window finally gave way, banging against the frame and making a loud noise. I heard Y/N gasp as Aph’s mom yelled. Then, running. I pushed Katelyn and Y/N behind boxes and helped Kawaii~Chan hide Zane. From where I stood, I could see Garroth and Laurance. I hoped they wouldn’t be spotted by Aph’s mom.

~~Aphmau's POV~~ Oh no, my mom’s going to see them! Hopefully, they got out! I followed my mom upstairs, into the room where my friends were. The window was open, but no one was there. My mom closed the window and then walked out, sighing and glaring at me before going to bed. OMI! That was so close! I walked out of the room and went to bed.

~~Y/N's POV~~ When Aphmau left, everyone got up and reopened the window. Kawaii~Chan finally woke Zane and helped him climb down a tree. After Zane and Kawaii~Chan were down, Garroth climbed down, followed by Laurance. Then Katelyn. “You can go down first, and I’ll close the window on my way out,” Aaron said. “Are you sure, Aaron?” I asked. “Not really, but I’m confident,” he said with a chuckle. “Okay, be careful.” I told him before starting to climb out. Aaron climbed out and closed the window. Halfway down the tree, I lost my grip and fell. I hit my head on a branch, and the last thing I remembered was Aaron catching me before I hit the ground.

~~Aaron's POV~~ What do I do? She seems to be knocked out. She doesn’t seem seriously injured—just scratches and bruises. I guess I’ll just take her back to my house for the night. Her mom would question it if a boy brought her home in the middle of the night. I picked her up and carried her to my house. I laid her down on my bed and turned off the light, closing the door. I slept on the couch. Luckily tomorrow was Saturday, so I could hang out with Aphmau, Y/N, and everyone.
