**1. Jason – “Don’t Do This”**
“Jason! Please, don’t,” Dick shouted, his voice trembling as he stared at the pile of bodies surrounding his friend. Twenty corpses lay scattered on the pavement, a grim testament to the night’s carnage.
“It’s never enough,” Jason snarled, eyes wild. “They took Roy’s life. They all deserve to die!”
Dick stepped forward, hands outstretched. “Babe, I miss Roy too, but this isn’t the way. This isn’t you.” He tried to close the distance, but Jason recoiled.
“I won’t let you keep killing,” Dick pleaded, desperation cracking his tone. “You’re killing yourself, Jason.”
The words broke something in Jason. He collapsed into Dick’s arms, tears streaming down his face. “I’m sorry. I don’t want to do this.”
“It’s going to be okay,” Dick whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to Jason’s forehead. “We have to leave. Batman will be here soon.”
Jason’s shoulders shook. “I dragged you back to Gotham just to avenge Roy. He was my best friend… and now he’s gone.”
“I know,” Dick answered, his lips finding Jason’s. He kissed him again, softer this time, and a faint smile lifted Jason’s lips.
Together they slipped away from the alley, heading for the hotel. In the dimly lit room they fell onto the bed, their bodies tangled. Dick settled on top of Jason, his hands roaming, his lips tracing a path of kisses that turned into playful bites.
Jason tried to hold back a moan, but the sound escaped him, and Dick laughed, the sound warm and reassuring. The night’s horror faded beneath the rhythm of their breathing, the promise of healing hidden in each shared touch.
