“Okay… then where should we go?” He pouted, leaning back against the plush seat.
“Hmm… could we have a candlelit dinner tonight?” I glanced at him, a hopeful smile playing on my lips.
“A candlelit honeymoon… hmm? Hmm?” He gave me a playful, yet suggestive look.
“Sure, why not?” I teased, returning his flirtatious gaze.
“You… just come here,” he murmured, leaning forward, his eyes dark with anticipation.
“Ah… not now. Just wait for tonight,” I whispered, a mischievous wink accompanying my words.
Meanwhile…
Jungkook was immersed in his work, pacing his hotel room. He decided to visit Jimin, needing a distraction. He drove to Jimin’s apartment, the city lights blurring past.
*At Jimin’s Place*
“Jimin-ah… I think someone’s at the door… go check,” I called out, a hint of annoyance in my voice.
“Who is it? Poking their nose into my romance, the nerve!” He stalked to the door, his expression furious.
“Oh, Jungkook-ssi… what’s up, man?” I heard Jimin ask.
I rose from the couch, wondering why he was here now. I was about to slip away, but Jimin and Jungkook were already in the lounge.
“Hey, Kim!” He greeted, a casual wave of his hand. I simply nodded, trying to ignore Jungkook’s presence.
I opened the wardrobe, searching for an outfit when I saw it—the letter. A wave of nervousness washed over me. I opened it again, the same words staring back. With a shaky hand, I ignited the paper, watching the flames consume the message. It felt…better. I began selecting dresses for Jimin and myself, pushing the incident aside.
Meanwhile…
Jimin told Jungkook they were planning dinner. It would be nice to have a proper evening together after so long, and he wanted everything to be perfect. He noticed Kimsoo looked preoccupied lately. Jungkook, however, seemed lost in thought, barely registering Jimin’s words.
When I descended the stairs, Jungkook was gone, and Jimin was glued to the television. I sighed, assuming he’d left. I went to Jimin, settling beside him. I wanted to tell him about the letter, but feared his reaction. He’d ask why, and I wasn’t ready to explain.
Jungkook’s Departure
“Oh… nice car, Park Jimin,” he grinned, leaning against the sleek vehicle.
“Let me guess, you're just a little piece of shit just as before, between Kim and me,” he mumbled angrily.
“But how would you go for dinner tonight with her?” He smiled, a sinister edge to his expression.
He subtly sabotaged the car’s engine.
“Have a nice dinner, PARK JIMIN,” he said, turning to leave, disappearing into the night.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was getting ready when Jimin emerged from the bathroom. His gaze swept over me, assessing.
“Oh… wow,” he breathed, his eyes sparkling with admiration.
“What? Is something missing?” I asked, tilting my head.
“Umm… nope. I mean… yes!” He stammered, his cheeks flushing.
“Omo… what is it? Tell me! We’re getting late,” I urged, my own heart quickening.
He leaned in, pulling me towards him, his arms wrapping around my waist. I gasped, startled by his sudden closeness.
“W…What is it?” I gulped, my voice barely a whisper.
“Nothing… I just wanted to see you… let me check… have you done with your lipstick yet?” He was so close, I could feel his breath on my face.
“Haven’t I?” I countered, playfully. He was leaning in, and I closed my eyes.
“Are you going to spend all the time here, just doing this? I’m hungry, Mr.” I murmured, my voice husky.
“Oh… sorry. Let’s go,” he backed off, a sheepish grin spreading across his face.
They went to the garage, and Jimin noticed the oil tank was leaking.
“Aish… WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!” He exclaimed, his voice laced with frustration.
“What happened?” I asked, my brow furrowing.
“Oh, shit!” He sighed.
“I’m not going…” I mumbled. “Jagiya… wait! Let me call the mechanic… please wait.” He came to me, his expression pleading.
“Okay… I’m inside the house. Tell me when it’s done.” I replied, retreating into the house.
Jimin called a mechanic, and the car was repaired within an hour.
JIMIN’s POV:
“Kim… it’s done!” I shouted, but when I saw her, she was asleep. I glanced at her and smiled, a wave of tenderness washing over me.
“She looks so beautiful, like the day we met…” I thought.
I slowly approached her, silently admiring her peaceful form. I gently brushed strands of hair behind her ears. She gently opened her eyes… and I was on top of her.
“What are you doing?” She questioned, her voice laced with surprise.
“Nothing… just looking at you,” I replied, my voice soft.
“Let’s go… the car is fixed.” I helped her to stand, my fingers lingering on her waist.
We intertwined our fingers and got into the car. We reached the beautiful hotel, the city lights twinkling around us. He opened the car door for me, and I stepped out, my heart pounding. We crossed arms with each other and went to the hotel.
We sat at a table, and the waiter handed us the menu cards. We ordered the dishes, the anticipation building with each passing moment.
“It’s nice, hmm?” He questioned me, while holding my hand.
“Yes, it is. It’s actually a relief…” I replied while holding back his hand.
We were having a romantic candlelit dinner when the hotel hospitality owner approached our table.
“Sir, what can you do for your lovely wife?” Jimin looked at me and smiled. I was blushing.
“Anything… anything for my life,” he answered.
He stood up, came to me and bowed down on his knees.
“Will you dance, Mrs. Park?” He was blushing and sparkling too.
“What are you doing?” I wondered.
“Okay sure,” I replied, smiling.
He held me my hand and waist, I traced his coat collar and put my hand on his shoulder. He pulled me towards him, really hard. We danced. He was looking into my eyes, I couldn’t resist his thirst for me, that night. My heart was beating so fast, I rested my head on his chest. The time was flipping.
When the party finished, we decided to go back. We got in the car. On the way home, Jimin was driving really fast. I told him to lower the speed. It was midnight already. Suddenly, he stopped the car… he got off and told me to stay in the car. I started playing with my hands and waited for Jimin.
JIMIN’s POV:
I got back to the car, but then I saw Kimsoo wasn’t there. I panicked. I looked all around, but Kimsoo wasn’t anywhere.
