On quiet nights, fear grips the city. People avoid the streets, haunted by the threat of violence. In this city, mafias reign supreme, untouchable even to the police who are bought and fed by their wealth. Citizens are murdered for amusement, their deaths a grotesque spectacle of power. No one dares to challenge them—the empire of Kim Seokjin and his brothers is too vast, too brutal. Their handsome faces conceal a madness that thrives on wealth and domination. They are men to be avoided at all costs.

Tonight, a boy wanders alone, his jacket concealing bruised arms. His lips tremble with cold and fear. He walks without direction, haunted by the memory of home—a place that never felt like home. He turns into a dark alley, stopping when he hears voices. Peeking around a wall, he sees two men kicking a man on the ground.

“I swear, I don’t know anything!” The injured man begs.

“We don’t play games. Tell us where the money is, and we’ll let you live. Simple as that,” the aggressor demands. The man on the ground continues to plead ignorance.

“Jimin,” the first man nods to his companion. Jimin pulls a gun from his back pocket and pulls the trigger.

“NO! Please, I beg you! I don’t want to die! Please—”

A shotgun blast cuts his plea short. Jimin shoots him in the forehead.

“I dressed up for nothing,” Jimin sighs, wiping blood from his white shirt.

“Looks good on you,” the other man replies.

“Shut up, Hoseok. This shirt cost me a thousand dollars, okay?” Jimin snaps.

Hoseok chuckles, amused by Jimin’s frustration over the stain.

The boy behind the wall trembles, his legs shaking. He must escape before they find him. He takes a step back, but knocks over a stack of boxes. They crash to the ground.

“Shit.”

He runs, desperate to outpace the inevitable.

The noise catches the mafias’ attention. “Look who’s there,” Hoseok instructs Jimin. Jimin scans the alley and spots the boy running. He gives chase. The boy’s terror intensifies as he hears footsteps gaining on him. He wants to disappear, to become invisible.

“AH!” Jimin grabs the boy’s collar, throwing him to the ground. He winces as his back hits the cold concrete. He looks up to see Hoseok looming over him, his gaze cold and calculating.

“He saw what we did. Shall we kill him too?” Jimin asks Hoseok.

Before an answer can be given, a figure emerges from the shadows. They kick a gun from Hoseok’s hand.

After the gun from Hoseok’s hand fell to the ground where he can't reach it, the unknown comes for Jimin and kicks him on his stomach. "Jimin!" Hoseok shouted as he kicks the person off from his friend. The unknown is now on the ground and Hoseok steps on the unknown's arm.

"Kill that boy. I'll take care of this son of a bitch"

Jimin takes out his gun and points it to the innocent boy who is still on the ground, speechless and trembling due to what is happening infront of his own eyes. The unknown quickly takes out the gun and shoot on Hoseok's shoulder. The unknown takes the chance to get up as Hoseok screams in pain.

The loud gunshot makes Jimin turns to the unknown and when he's about to shoot back to that person, that unknown is even faster and shoot on Jimin's thigh.

Jimin fell onto the ground while the unknown is now stepping on Hoseok's shoulder, making him groaning in pain. While the unknown is distracted, Jimin takes that moment to shoot back but the unknown quickly dodges it and run towards Jimin. He loses the gun from his grasp after the unknown kicked it off from him. But Jimin manages to stand up and lunges toward the unknown and brings the unknown down.

Jimin quickly hovers on top of the unknown and before he could throw a punch to the unknown, he gets to take off the mask that the unknown have been wearing.

His eyes widen in shock as he sees the face.

“Who are you…” He asked in a growl when he found out the unknown is a girl.

He started to choke the girl, yet she doesn't even respond anything to him.

“I said, who are you?”

The girl still doesn't answer him and she takes that moment to kick his balls. Jimin groans in pain as she quickly gets up and take her gun as she points it toward Jimin.

But before she could pull the trigger, someone knocks the girl from behind and she finally collapsed.

“Namjoon…”

“Jin wonders where you guys went and turned out you guys are fighting with a kitten. And you guys lose... Seriously? What would Jin thinks of this?” Namjoon asked in annoyed.

Hoseok slowly gets up as he pressed his bleeding shoulder. “Who the fuck is she? She’s strong damn it”

“What about this boy?” Namjoon asked while looking at the innocent boy who is in the verge of crying.

“We’re about to kill him because he witnessed us but this girl suddenly came out of nowhere” Jimin said while ripping some of his shirt and ties it around his bleeding thigh.

Namjoon slowly walks over to the boy and asked him to get up and so the boy did.

“Do you know her?” Namjoon asked while pointing to the unconscious girl.

“N-no..” The boy shakes his head in fear.

Namjoon stays quiet until he realized the boy got his lips cut.

“Did you guys beat him?” Namjoon asked again to his brothers.

“No” Hoseok replied.

The boy slowly brings his trembling hand to his face to wipe away his tear. Namjoon also notices there are some cuts and bruises on his arm.

“Do you have a home to go?”

The boy remains silent. He doesn’t know what to answer because he does have a house but it can never be called as his home. He shakes his head as a no.

“Well it’s kinda fishy to know that a boy like you doesn't have a home and this girl appeared out of nowhere when they were supposed to kill you... ” Namjoon stops and looks at the boy directly.

“Maybe you’ll have a home soon” Namjoon knocks the boy and he passed out right there.

“Why don’t you kill them both?” Jimin asked.

“Sometimes violence isn’t the only way to end things. Hoseok said that girl is strong, she got some skills and this boy... He looks somewhat insane. He looks like he could do anything if we ask him to” Namjoon explained as he walks away from there.

“You’re not going to say that you’re going to take them to Jin right?” Hoseok asked in disbelief.

Namjoon stops his track and turns around to look at his friends, “No. I’m not going to take them, but you guys are” He said as he walks away again.

“We’re injured here!” Jimin shouted at him.

“That’s why you guys shouldn’t lose to a small girl!” Namjoon replied as he gets back into his car and drive off from there.
