The next day dawned, and the girl was the first to regain consciousness. She strained against the ropes binding her to the chair, her gaze falling on the boy tied securely in front of her. She kicked his legs, insistent, until he finally stirred.
“Where… where am I?” he rasped, fear lacing his voice.
“They’ve got us,” she replied, still struggling with her bonds.
He stared at her for a long moment, then his eyes darted around the room, taking in their surroundings.
“We’re trapped… they’re going to kill us!” He began to sob, his voice choked with panic.
“No,” she said sharply, her voice firm. “They won’t. If they wanted to kill us, they would have done it already, instead of bringing us here.”
He erupted in fresh sobs, and she glared at him in disbelief.
“Stop crying! It won’t help!” she hissed, her voice laced with frustration.
“Can you *please* stop crying? How old are you? You look older than me,” she snapped, her tone harsh.
He choked back a sob, his voice trembling. “I’m twenty-four.”
“What the hell…” she muttered under her breath.
“I shouldn’t have run from home… look what it’s gotten me,” he continued to weep.
A moment later, Namjoon and Jimin entered the room. Namjoon moved with quiet efficiency, ignoring the boy’s cries as he untied him. He handed the trembling figure to Jimin.
“You two go ahead. I’ll bring the girl,” Namjoon said, his voice flat. Jimin took the boy’s hand and led him out of the room.

The place was opulent, breathtakingly vast. Artistic frames adorned the walls, and vases overflowing with flowers graced every surface. Jimin and Namjoon escorted them to a room Jin had used for meetings.
They simply threw the boy and girl to the floor. A curse escaped the girl’s lips.
“No one is allowed to curse in this room unless it’s me,” a voice cut through the silence. A man stood before them, tall and handsome. He surveyed them with an appraising gaze.
The girl’s voice caught in her throat as she saw him. The handsome man smiled innocently. He looked angelic, but he was a mafia leader.
Kim Seokjin.
“Why are they here?” Jin asked Namjoon, who explained everything.
Jin turned his attention back to the girl and the boy, kneeling on the floor. He smiled sweetly, then bent down until he was eye level with her. He reached out and gently held her face, forcing her to meet his gaze.
“You almost killed my friends, dear,” he said softly, his voice a silken whisper. She didn’t respond.
“What’s your name?” he asked again.
Hatred burned in her eyes as she replied, “Kim Y/N.”
Jin nodded, then turned to the boy. “What can you do?”
“A-anything for you. J-just please don’t kill me,” he stammered, his voice trembling.
“I’m in a good mood today, so relax… I won’t kill you. What’s your name?”
“Kim Taehyung.”
“Are you two related?” Jin asked, and both shook their heads.
Jin stood up, his hand disappearing into his pocket. “If she can fight, let her have a match with one of the guys. I want to see it. And for this boy… I want him to do a favor for me.” Jin smirked at Namjoon as he turned and walked away.

That evening, the hall was filled with onlookers. Jin sat in the front row, Namjoon beside him.
The girl walked in, her eyes sweeping across the room. She stopped when she saw Jin, her teeth clenched in anger. She looked away.
“Who will fight her?” Jin asked Namjoon.
“Yoongi,” Namjoon replied casually, sipping his coke.
Jin’s gaze fixed on the girl. Another man walked into the hall, small but deadly.
“Cat versus kitten. This is going to be interesting,” Jimin exclaimed, clapping his hands together excitedly.
“I can’t believe they’re making me fight someone like her,” Yoongi grumbled, shaking his head.
“Don’t underestimate her,” the girl retorted, her voice short and clipped.
“Three… two… one! Let the match begin!” Hoseok announced.
The girl lunged at Yoongi, taking him down. He fell, but quickly kicked out, flipping her over. She landed beneath him, blocking his punches with furious energy. She kicked his ball and finally stood back on her own feet.
Yoongi, still on the ground, kicked her stomach. She groaned but blocked all his punches until she kicked his ball. She stood up and kicked Yoongi’s face.
“Oh shit! C’mon Yoongi don’t be so weak,” Jimin shouted.
“Do you realize Yoongi’s level is higher than yours? You’re even weaker than him,” Hoseok said to Jimin, who was eating popcorn.
“That’s it,” Yoongi wiped blood from his lips and fought back faster and harder.
She managed to block some hits, but Yoongi landed a brutal punch to her stomach, sending her tumbling backward.
Yoongi smirked down at her. “I don’t underestimate you anymore.”
She smirked back, then wrapped her legs around his neck, bringing him down. She got up and about to throw another punch to Yoongi’s face but then Jin stopped them.
“Enough!” Jin roared.
Yoongi lay on the ground, staring at her in disbelief.
“You lost to Yoongi… and now Yoongi lost to her? Whoa…” Hoseok said in shock.
“You lose to Yoongi too what do you mean…” Jimin mumbled.
Jin walked closer to them and reached out his hand to Yoongi. Yoongi took Jin’s hand as he stood up again.
“You did great,” Jin tapped on Yoongi’s shoulder then turned to the girl.
“You did amazing.” Jin smiled sweetly at her, but she just stared at him with no expression.
Everyone started talking about the match, how nobody had ever beaten Yoongi before.
Jin walked back to his place and looked at Namjoon, who looked surprised too.
“That girl will become a part of this empire. Let her in,” Jin instructed Namjoon then looked back to that girl.
“Kim Y/N, welcome to my empire.” Jin smirked at her and walked away, Namjoon at his side.
The girl was still panting, looking around at the stunned faces. She felt awkward and embarrassed.
“You really have good defending skills. What is your name?” Yoongi asked.
“Y/N. Kim Y/N.” She answered while looking at Yoongi.
“Welcome to our empire, Y/N. I’m Yoongi. Min Yoongi.” Yoongi reached out his hand and she shook it.
“See you around,” Yoongi smiled then walked away.
