5. Pranking Aaron
The familiar chime of a key turning in the lock. ——Y/N’s POV—Five weeks after the pool party——
Wonderful! The boys are taking me to a club tonight. Or rather, I’m taking them, but whatever. Aaron isn’t coming, neither are Zane or a few others, so I’m stuck with Garroth (aka GarGar), Travis (Casanova), Dante (Blue Hair), Vylad (Vert – the guy I’d met recently), and Laurence (LauLau).
I’ve got nicknames for all of them, naturally. Zane is obviously Zuzu. Aaron is Big Bro, and so on.
Anyway, I got ready for the night. I slipped into a cute party dress.
(A/N feel free to change the color, obviously.)
And then, unbelievably, I discovered these silver and sparkly flat shoes I didn’t even know I owned! They’re perfect.
———TIME SKIP: Arrival at the Club———
We walked up to the club entrance, and handed my VIP pass to the bouncer. I told him Garroth, Travis, Vylad, and Dante were with me. Laurence, I noticed, was already inside, flashing his own VIP pass.
Inside, the club was pulsing with flashing lights. It wasn’t overly crowded yet, just lightly packed.
I headed straight to the bar, ordered a F/D (favorite drink of choice), and grabbed drinks for the boys. It was only 8 pm, and the club stayed open until 4 am. Eight hours to party. Though, knowing me, I’d probably be drinking alcohol and not even have a hangover.
(A/N sorry if you don't drink. I don't, but let’s just roll with it.)
Heh. Party time.
——THE NEXT DAY AT 1:00 PM——
I woke up feeling like I’d been dragged from the dead. My hair was sticking out in every direction. But something felt…off. I glanced around and realized I wasn’t in my own bed, or even my house.
The room was mostly green and silver. Travis’ room. A stirring beside me made me jolt upright. Travis was in the bed next to me.
I was grateful I still had my clothes on. I just sat there, staring into space, for what felt like ages.
“Wakey wakey,” I said, poking Travis’ stomach. He shifted slightly. I continued poking him, repeating my greeting until an idea struck me.
I leaned down and whispered in his ear, “Go to sleep.” in a voice that would make anyone insane and giggled. His eyes snapped open, and he bolted upright. I laughed at his reaction.
The laughter bubbled up until I fell backward, tumbling off the bed, still giggling.
“Y/N!” Travis shouted.
I continued to laugh. “Y-You should’ve seen your face!” I managed between gasps. I burst into another wave of laughter.
“Ha ha ha.” He said, flatly sarcastic.
Finally, I calmed down enough to sit up.
—LATER THAT DAY AT MY HOME— —WITH APHMAU—
“Aphmau… I’m bored!” I exclaimed, faceplanting into the floor.
“I know! We can prank someone!” Aphmau said.
“Yes! Let’s prank Aaron!” I exclaimed, grabbing my phone and dialing Aaron’s number.
“What are you doing?” Aphmau asked.
“Here’s the plan. I’m going to call Aaron and pretend I’m dying in the woods. Then you come in and say ‘die.’ BAM! Prank complete. You tell him it was a prank.” I explained.
“O-Okay.” Aphmau said hesitantly.
I pressed ‘call’ and put the phone on speaker.
“Hello? Y/N?” I heard Aaron’s voice through the device.
“A-Aaron?” I asked quietly.
“Y/N? Are you okay?” He asked.
“N-No. H-Help me.” I said, my voice barely a whisper.
“Y/N, where are you?” Aaron’s voice was laced with panic.
“T-The woods,” I replied.
“Woods? What are you doing there?” He asked.
“A-Aaron…” I said.
“Yes?” He replied.
“H-help. I-I need y-you.” I said, making sure he could hear my heavy breathing.
“Where are you? I’ll help you when you tell me where you are.”
“I-I-I c-can’t.” I said, then let out a bloodcurdling scream. When I finished, I muted the phone, so he couldn’t hear anything from my side.
“Y/N? Y/N! Oh god. Please say you’re okay.” Aaron’s voice was frantic.
I looked at Aphmau and nodded. She nodded back. I unmuted the phone.
“Die.” Aphmau whispered creepily.
I couldn’t contain it anymore and burst into laughter.
“Oh-my-gosh! Aaron! I’m so sorry! It’s a prank, don’t be mad.” I exclaimed between laughs.
“Y/N! You had me terrified! Don’t do that! I’ll get you back one day.” He said, clearly furious.
“Anyways. Bye!” I said and hung up.
“Oops,” I said, shrugging my shoulders.
“I’ve got to go now, Y/N, but I’ll be sure to not get Aaron mad anytime soon.” Aphmau said.
We said our goodbyes, and Aphmau left.
